Bellamy, Brad Pitt, Buddy, Austin, Ares, and Duke are all searching for their forever homes! ❤️

These handsome boys have worked incredibly hard in our rehabilitation program, overcoming obstacles and learning what it means to trust, grow, and thrive. Each has their own unique personality and quirks, but one thing they all have in common is a whole lot of love to give.

Their journeys haven't always been easy, but they are proof that second chances can change lives. Now all they need is a family to call their own.

Could one of these amazing boys be the missing piece in your home? 🏡🐶

Meet Piper.

You may remember her as Bella. She spent about three months in our care at Lily's Rescue Rehab while she got the time, structure, and decompression she needed to be ready for her family.

Now she is Piper, fully home, and she still comes back to see us. Her family brings her to Lily's Play-N-Stay for boarding and daycare, which means we get to watch her continue to grow up loved.

Piper is part of why this mission matters. The dogs who come through here are not just placed and forgotten. They become part of a community that watches them thrive.

Thank you to her family for choosing her, for trusting this process, and for letting us stay part of her story.

Today is National Rescue Dog Day.

Lily's Rescue Rehab exists because of every dog who has come through our doors. Some are still with us, learning what safety feels like. Some are home, building a life with a family who chose them. Some helped us figure out how to do this work better for the next dog who walked in.

Each one shaped this program. Each one is the reason we keep going.

If today moves you, the most direct way to support the dogs in our care is right here:

Each pet in our care costs about $1,600 per month. Monthly support helps us plan ahead for the dogs who need the most time. One-time gifts make every month possible.

Lily's Rescue Rehab is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. EIN 99-4652552.

A huge thank you to Price Chopper Belton for donating some special treats for the babies in our care at Lily’s Rescue Rehab! 💙

After a long day of working hard in their rehabilitation program, these pups were beyond excited to enjoy a special bedtime snack. Moments like this may seem small, but they mean so much to the pets in our care as they learn to trust, decompress, and prepare for their forever homes.

We are so grateful for the incredible community support that helps us continue giving shelter pets the second chance they truly deserve. Thank you for helping us make tails wag a little extra tonight! 🐾

Two more have officially joined the LRR family, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome Aries and Duke into our rehabilitation program. 💙🐾

We are also excited to welcome a brand new shelter partner to our mission — Albany Animal Shelter. We are so thankful for partnerships like these that allow us to help shelter pets from all across different communities get the second chance they deserve.

Aries and Duke are beginning their journey with our team, where they will receive individualized care, structure, training, decompression, and lots of love while we help prepare them for forever homes.

Every new intake is a reminder of why this mission matters so much. We cannot wait to watch these boys grow, heal, and shine. Welcome to the program, Aries and Duke — your next chapter starts now. 🐶✨

Today is the day we celebrate the biggest reason Lily’s Rescue Rehab exists… ❤️

Buddha went HOME. 🏡

63 days ago, this sweet boy arrived to our rehabilitation program after being placed on the euthanasia list due to overcrowding. Over the last 63 days, Buddha worked so incredibly hard learning how to trust, heal, and grow. Our team fell in love with him every step of the way.

And today, all of that hard work paid off. Buddha found his forever family. ❤️

Stories like Buddha’s are exactly why second chances matter so much. Every shelter pet deserves the opportunity to be understood, supported, and loved. Watching dogs go from being out of time to finally being safe in the arms of a forever family is something truly special.

Congratulations, Buddha. We are so unbelievably proud of you and cannot wait to watch you thrive in this next chapter of your life. Thank you to everyone who supported his journey and believed in second chances.

Today was one of those days that reminds us just how incredible our community truly is. 💙A huge thank you to Belton Park...

Today was one of those days that reminds us just how incredible our community truly is. 💙

A huge thank you to Belton Parks and Recreation for choosing to support Lily’s Rescue Rehab during your Bingo event today. Because of your kindness and the generosity of everyone involved, we collected an amazing 334 food and supply items for the pets in our rehabilitation program.

These donations mean so much more than just supplies. They mean full bellies, warm beds, enrichment, comfort, healing, and hope for dogs that were once overlooked or out of options. Every single item helps us continue giving these babies the second chances they deserve.

We also want to give a very special thank you to the lovely ladies, Traci and Tina, for spending their time supporting LRR, sharing our mission, and helping others understand the work that goes into helping these shelter pets heal and move toward a better future. Having people who genuinely care enough to stand beside us and advocate for these animals means the world to our team.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who donated, attended, shared, supported, and believed in these babies today. We could not do this without our community. 🐾

Care Team Spotlight: Dr. Bradley Bays

It is hard to overstate what Dr. Teresa Bradley Bays of 4 Paws Rejuvenation - Quality of Life Pet Care has meant to Lily's Rescue Rehab. She has been with us since the very beginning, helping with the pups we cared for before Lily's Rescue Rehab officially existed. The dogs in our care are better for it every single day.

Dr. Bradley Bays brings a holistic veterinary approach we lean on constantly. Veterinary acupuncture. Pet chiropractic. Cold laser therapy. The kind of care that meets each dog where they are and helps their body catch up with the safety they have finally found.

She is also one of our most consistent supporters. Her family adopted Cane. She shows up for the pets in our care over and over again. And she helps pet parents in a local practice every day with the same depth of care and education.

Dr. Bradley Bays, thank you. Lily's Rescue Rehab would not look the way it does without you, and the dogs you have helped feel that every day.
