We're trying something new! Continuing to try and find new ways to best support our community, we're going to try walk-in Well Pet appointments on June 11th.

Appointments are first come, first served for vaccines, microchips, nail trims, ear cleaning, deworming, and flea/tick/heartworm prevention.

Come see us at 1506 Paseo Del Plata, Suite 100 in Temple. Upon arrival you'll sign-in and scan a QR code to create an account.

VERY EXCITING! Although its not in Texas, this is a step in the right direction!
I definitely stand with banning balloon releases so that defenseless animals are no longer killed for absolutely no reason.

✨️🐾TODAY IS NATIONAL RESCUE DOG DAY! 🐾✨️ GO RESCUE A DOG😁💖!

I am lucky because we have our Rusty boy who is a rescue from the amazing Journey Home Rescue 💖 Annie is a rescue from Craigslist, so not quite the same 🤣

Other rescues who absolutely pour everything into animals are:

Rescues literally do so much behind the scenes to ensure these fur babies are ready to enter a home completely ready.

Most will work with them on their:
➡️Confidence
➡️Temperament
➡️Potty training
➡️Socialization
➡️Strength

AND get them fully vetted which can include:
➡️Spay/Neuter
➡️Heartworm Tested (if positive, they put them on the medicine to kill the heartworms!)
➡️Heartworm Prevention
➡️Flea and Tick Prevention
➡️Vaccines
➡️Groomed

That's ALOT. A lot of time, effort, love, and money. You have to have a big heart, but also a tough one and a hopeful one to run a rescue. 💖

Thats why I am so FOR rescues, because they do amazing things, and persevere, no matter how many times they're let down by humans (tough truth). (Can you tell I'm passionate?😅)

When most rescues take in a dog, they get them up to date on vaccinations, heartworm test and medicate, spay/neuter, and so much more!
They literally do all the heavy work so that these dogs are fully ready for YOU ❤️ Such amazing work they do.
