Waco Warm Up 1 COMPLETE 🥳

Thankful for all the customers, friends and family that make going to the shows possible. We survived the unbearable cold last week while still having a blast and also lots of fun trips around the show pen!

Sometimes it important to remember the lessons our coaches or trainers teach us away from the horse completely. To remember the rule of horses, which usually is 90% work and 10% fun.

Work hard even when no one is watching.
If you see something, fix it.
Put things back the way you found it.
Always put the horse first.
Clean up after yourself.
Leave things better than you found it.

Your truth lies in the work you put in after hours, after sickness, after bad weather.

Work hard, and it pays off, even if you’re not always in the saddle. Be kind to others, be honest with everyone, and never falter away from the things you want in life.

Working for people you realize that even the most mundane or annoying of tasks will similarly pop up in your everyday life. Be grateful they taught you with tough love. Be grateful they taught you through hard work and long hours. Be grateful they were able to show you the other side of horses people don’t think about. Be grateful they were particular and repetitive.

Coaches and trainers follow us through our lives with horses without a doubt.

Be grateful for them, because it isn’t always glamorous.

What a fantastic time we had at The Warm Up Series in Waco! Everyone had a blast, showed well, and were dressed to impress thanks to .

Here are some honorable mentions:

Ashley Stratman and Nu Magnum Chex won the first slate of Rookie LV1. This is their first ever show together and we are so excited! 🏆🙌🏻

Ashley also showed Snipers Whiz in the Green Reiner LV1 and placed second with a 68 1/2 🥈

Grace and Snipers Whiz did well in the Novice Horse Open with a 69 1/2 👏🏻

Ashley Merritt and Whizwood Otie schooled in their first ever show and did so well! We are super excited for next year with them.

Also a huge thank you to Perfect Equine for keeping our ponies feeling good in the salt water spa!

We also have to say a big thanks to all our support team. Our youth kids, their parents and grandparents, friends and spouses all pulled their weight to make sure everything ran smoothly! We couldn’t do it without y’all.
