Please join us on Father's Day Weekend for the Annual Belt PRCA Rodeo!! In 1955, several young ranchers from the Belt area dreamed about building a roping arena in the Little Belt community in the Highwood Mountains, where most of the cowboys ranched. The group initially called thems

elves the Little Belt Riding and Roping Club and during the first few years the ranchers met at the grounds with their own horses and stock and enjoyed competing amongst themselves in timed events, riding events and family Omoksees.They switched from amateur to professional in 1961 and over the last 50+ years, the Belt Rodeo has become one of the best PRCA rodeos in the area.

Sign up starts an hour before each performance just inside the general admission entrance gate. It usually fills up really fast so it's best to be there right away. The weight limit for riders is 50lbs. A parent must be present to sign a waiver. There are 12 names drawn after sign up (10 riders and 2 alternates) for each performance.
