The heat is on…again 🥵😫

Since I’m still seeing people walk their dogs in the middle of the day during a heat advisory, it’s time for another PSA 📢 in order to keep our furry friends safe🦮🐕‍🦺
Sorry, not sorry 😊

No walks when:
-Temp is over 80-85 degrees
-Humidity is over 70% on an already hot day
-Fail 5 second hand test (on pavement)

Heat stroke in dogs is real. It happens quickly and can be fatal. But…preventable in most cases. Just skip the walk! 🤷‍♀️ Or go really early or really late!

Hey peeps! I’ll be out of the “office” today (Thursday) through Monday 4/20. Heading west for additional acupuncture training. Working hard to make your fur babies comfortable! 😻

Happy boy, Clancy, loving the outdoors! Hopefully he’ll finally get some nice weather to enjoy!
