Mark your calendars! Join us at Connections Church for Tables in the Wilderness on October 17th, 11am-2pm. Come enjoy live music, inspirational speakers, and a nice meal. There will also be a blood drive, employment opportunities, pet resources, and fun activities for kids. Everything is 100% FREE! It's going to be a fun filled day. We hope to see you there!

🚧 Street closure reminder: Streets in the festival area will close Thursday, October 1, at 5 p.m. for carnival setup. Please plan ahead and use alternate routes.

Compassionate Paws will be at Country Fest in Stanley today so come on put to Downtown Stanley. We have earings and other 3d printed items that proceeds will go to our mission and pet food pantry!! So come on out and have a good time with us today!!

COMPASSIONATE PAWS ANIMAL MINISTRIES
Every Donation Makes a Difference
Compassionate Paws is always in need of food donations to help both people and animals in our community. The food we receive is provided to individuals and families who are struggling and need something to get by until they are able to obtain more. Pet food and supplies are also distributed to those in need, helping keep beloved animals fed, cared for, and safely with the people who love them.
One of our goals is to receive enough monetary donations to expand the services we can provide to our community. We hope to be able to assist with pet deposits, microchips for animals belonging to people experiencing homelessness, vaccinations, veterinary examinations, and other essential veterinary care. By helping provide these services, we can help keep animals healthy and help people experiencing difficult circumstances remain together with their faithful companions.
The Bible reminds us of the importance of caring for those in need:
“Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done.” — Proverbs 19:17
“The righteous care for the needs of their animals.” — Proverbs 12:10
And Jesus reminds us that when we serve those who are struggling, we are serving Him:
“Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” — Matthew 25:40
We believe that caring for people and caring for the animals entrusted to them is one way we can show God's love through action. Every bag of food, every supply, and every monetary donation helps us reach another person or animal in need.
Together, we can provide hope, compassion, and practical help to our community—one person, one family, and one animal at a time.

SOMETIMES PET FOOD IS THE DIFFERENCE ❤️

When a family is already choosing between groceries, utilities, gas and other necessities, an unexpected bag of pet food can become one more expense they simply can’t manage.

That doesn’t mean they don’t love their pet.

Our goal is simple: help people through the hard season so their pets can stay where they belong — at home with the people who love them.

Pet food donations are always appreciated!

Through our partnership with Faith Forward Outreach, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we collect gently used pet supplies and pet food to distribute at community events to families who may be struggling.

Because having a hard time financially shouldn’t have to mean giving up your pet.

We also work with some wonderful local pet professionals and community partners who can help connect families with resources, services, or simply point them in the right direction when their pet needs something they can’t manage alone.

Have gently used pet items sitting around that your pet no longer needs? We may be able to put them directly into the hands of someone who does.
