A great weekend at Paws Pack Dog Training & Sports LLC for their regional-qualifier dock-diving event!
Patty was quick to respond, so communicative, and kind! She and her husband made it a point to speak with everyone, and we felt like part of a family!
Smolder reached a new personal best distance jump at 22' 6! In one season, she almost surpassed Super, and she's continuing to improve with every jump! Interestingly enough, dock diving has transferred to hunting by improving her fetch and recall, especially in the water!
Super reached a personal best in his air retrieve at 17 ft (shown in the video)! We started low - at just 9 ft and he went for 9 jumps without a miss! Even with thoughtful pacing, he was tired, but he still gave it his all at 18 ft.
Thanks to my mom and my friend Julia for being my support system at the event, and Caleb for being my support back home, holding down the fort while I'm out playing with dogs.
Super and Smolder are bred and co-owned by RidgeView Labradors; in my humble opinion, they are the best dogs a person could ask for.
