TYSON! We have been advocating for this group of cats long before their drug addicted "owners" got evicted. Now they are homeless and we can actually rescue them BUT we need foster homes. Could we please get some people who can take him and his sibling together? Bonus points if you can adopt and aren't traveling for the holidays!

Lucy's 2nd Birthday!!!!

06/25/2026

🐾 Buddy is waiting for his second chance at forever 🐾
Sometimes life changes in ways no one expects. Buddy had found his adopter, but shortly after coming home, his new family member experienced a serious fall and an extended recovery that means they are no longer able to care for him. Through no fault of his own, Buddy is once again looking for the family who will love him for the rest of his life.
Buddy is a sweet 5-year-old beagle who spent his whole life with one family before this unexpected change. He is a loving boy who wants to be near his people and be part of the family. ❤️
Buddy is a big personality in a beagle body! He is energetic, playful, and happiest when he has exercise, enrichment, and attention. He can be anxious when left alone and may chew on things when he’s worried. He also has a very enthusiastic beagle voice — when Buddy has something to say, he wants to make sure you hear it! 🐶
Buddy is looking for:
🏡 A home where someone is around most of the time
🐾 A patient adopter who will help him build confidence and work through his separation anxiety
🚶‍♂️ Someone ready for walks, playtime, and helping him burn off his beagle energy
👧 Older children are best since Buddy’s happy zoomies could accidentally knock over little ones
🐱 No cats — Buddy has not lived with cats and is not a fan when he sees them on walks
Buddy is okay with other dogs, although he may need a little time to feel comfortable. He experienced a scary dog attack in the past and lost part of his ear, so a calm introduction is important. He would also be perfectly happy as your one and only.
Buddy does have a condition called beagle pain syndrome (a scary name for something that is manageable). Buddy had an episode last year. Medication took care of the inflammation and pain and he’s fine now.
Right now, Buddy is waiting in boarding for the family who will see what a wonderful companion he can be. He doesn’t need a perfect home — he needs a patient home that understands him, gives him structure, and reminds him that he is loved. 💙
Could Buddy be the missing piece in your family? Please share so we can help this sweet boy find his forever home. 🐾

*🚨 WHATCOM COUNTY OFFICIALLY DECLARED IN CRISIS FOR 2026 🚨*

*33 NEW CATS ASSISTED IN THE LAST 24 HOURS ALONE.*

We were asked why no one wants a trunk full of kittens down at the grocery store anymore. The answer is simple: OVERPOPULATION !!

Today we’re:
- Trapping entire colonies + helping with large multi-cat situations
- Helping hoarding cases with aging/mentally ill caretakers
- Pulling litters from under sheds, backyards, boats — yes, including the midnight “miracle nipple” boat babies
- Racing against unfixed strays giving birth RIGHT NOW
-directing people to matching resources and solutions even if we cannot directly intake their kitty
-trying to help rescue dogs! Folks this is NOT Whatcom Canine Alliance 🐾 it's really not our jam but we still try when other dog rescues are at capacity

And this is _on top_ of:
Our normal operations. The cats already in our care. Medical cases. Adoptions. Fosters. Spay/neuter for the public. Our Spay Summit for Maple Falls. Back-to-back adoption events.

*The season has officially popped off.* 🍾
*Time is critical. Funds are critical. Hands are critical.*

We’re stretched to the absolute max and calls keep coming in.

*HOW YOU CAN HELP RIGHT NOW:*

1. *DONATE*: Vet bills, wet food, Zip ties, Frisco brand potty pads, spay/neuter sponsorships— every $5 keeps us going.

2. *FOSTER*: Even 2 weeks buys us time. We provide all supplies. Right now we have 8 new ADORABLE cats who need safe loving foster homes...

3. *SUPPLIES*: We’re burning through wet food, litter, flea treatments. Chewy E-Gift cards or Petsmart store gift cards are great. We can also use zip ties and Frisco brand puppy pads!!

4. *SHARE*: Your share = the foster/adopter/donor we need tonight

*Miracle Ni**le Update*: THANK YOU for sending them for the next emergency! We only need *MINI size* — some donated could feed a small calf 😹 We’ll need many more as litters keep coming.

We’re doing the impossible work daily. But we can’t do it without you.

Howdy Neighbors! Due to raising gas prices, I'm looking to narrow down my service area a little bit. Looking for a few more pet sitting clients in Fairhaven, Edgemoor, South Hill, Samish Hill, and surrounding areas. I have been running my business since December 2013. I am Pet CPR and First Aid Certified, Licensed & Insured, and Voted Best of Bellingham 2020! Check out my website for more info and fill out the "Contact Me" form to schedule a New Client Meet n Greet! I would also love to put up some yards signs in those areas as well.
