I lost Emmett today . The past handful of days i noticed hes been a little off , lifes been busy and i didnt think to much of it nothing too alarming, then this AM it was all different … off to the ER , Everything happened so fast reports came back , red blood cells were tanked , White was through the roof . Imagining showed pneumonia and his fever pointed towards sepsis.. lymph nodes swollen , no coughing , no to minimal discharge . liver and kidneys were fine ,toxicology report was fine, but his fever almost 107 . We did all we could today to try and drop that fever , antibiotics fluids fans cooling mats . He was already gone . I’m absolutely shattered.

It is with great Excitement I share with you our x-ray images from our expected litter between Jinora and Emmett . Our Much beloved veterinarian says to expect at least 11 🤪 with the possibility of more ( look behind 5’s head ) . I very much doubt that jinora will be holding out until her expected due date in the first week of June . I am absolutely THRILLED while simultaneously thinking - WOAH, that’s a lota puppies - 🐶 I’ll keep yall updated as things move along . We are getting close !

We did it ! From last Thursday setting up the show to closing out Monday. The Mount baker kennel club / Bell Vernon kennel club show is a wrap ! I stewarded all 4 days , 3 days did NOHS groups , and 2 Olde English Specialties Wilma made her baby puppy Debut this weekend and went group 4 on Saturday under Judge Mary Albee and Group 2 under Judge Pamela Waldron on Sunday ! I couldn’t be More proud of her , she was a bit unsure about the whole thing But she kept it moving and was such a good girl for me . Beyond the debut of Wilma something else that happened that was so special was last December Jinora foster momma’d a little of Olde English puppies for a couple weeks and we got to see “pink girl” from that litter this weekend . It was so fulfilling and heart warming to see her and get to connect with all the OE people . Along with all the people I love so much in my all breed club. Every show has its hiccups , but I always love our Lynden show 💙💙💙💙

It is with great excitement that I get to share that after multiple failed attempts and years of hoping and praying that we have successfully Bred Jinora and Emmett !!!

Pack walk with friends this evening , today I brought little miss Wilma , Ila and Ivan on their first big outing together at 14 1/2 weeks to meet other dogs and other people and they did great ! While I did trip up in tangled leashes at least 100 times I am so proud of these little babes and of auntie Josie being bubbly and enthusiastic leading the way , thanks guys for all your help to make it a positive experience ♥️

It’s offially been 1 week since all the puppies have gone to their forever families , Fin - now Henry went home “on time” , and after his appointment with the cardiologist, and the other 3 BMO -now Smudge , Marcy -now Penny and Jake -now Yoshi , left their first home here last week . And let me tell you , 6 13 week old puppies had me running circles lol
Liberty ( the Samoyed ) went into season . So my daughter and I Drove her down to her BF house in oregon , and to answer that question - NO , I DO NOT BREED SAMOYEDS - -THIS IS HER BREEDERS LITTER, NOT OURS - ( hope that’s clear enough !!!lol , I don’t want ANY confusion on that one lol ) speaking of my daughter , we started OFFICIALLY homeschooling last week , after doing all that we could with the public school system where we are to iron out some issues and bullies . We all decided that the remainder of this year would be best , doing 4 days at home , and a half day at school . Our family is in the process of getting things back to “normal” and what that looks like now .
Also I’m open too / considering finding a LOCAL placement for our little miss ILA !! someone who would either be open and interested to showing and learning how too with her or letting me show her myself ! If you’re interested, let me know so we can talk . I think that’s all I have for updates now . Hope everyone is well !

There’s a lot to be said about the loyalty of a dog . Something that we all have said at one point or another and can universally agree on , is they are the first ones to walk us where we’re going , the first to willing wait , and the first to welcome us home . These photos are of Iris and Ben , the two at the gate. One taken by my husband, Iris laying by the gate waiting for me to return . And the other side , when I pulled back to the driveway , there she lay waiting Still . Another time , she waited right there on the front porch until I came home , and Ben always nose to the window , so excited to give me welcome home kisses when I open my car door . These two , have been my biggest lessons in newfs . And they teach me more every day . Some days are hard, And make me question myself , as an owner , a trainer , and a breeder . Other days make me forget all the rest . But something I couldn’t do is imagine a life without them . Blessed are we whom are loved by a Newfoundland. I’ve never known a better friend .
