THANK YOU to Everyone for making our Spokane Fires Pet Food + Supplies Drive for a HUGE Success! In partnership with and Fairwood Plaza Animal Clinic we had so. much. good. stuff! We filled the entire truck, stuffed the pet carriers with donations, and it all barely fit! Thank you so much to everyone who donated, and a big shout out to Marshall Hargett and for taking on the delivery!! 🐾🤩🐾🎉🐾

PET FOOD + SUPPLIES DRIVE for the Spokane Fire victims. Companion Animal Hospital, in partnership with other local veterinary hospitals, are asking for your help! Please bring non-perishable dog and cat food, bowls, leashes, collars, pet beds and toys. Donations can be dropped off at any of the Veterinary Hospitals listed below and on the flyer. All donations will be transported to Spokane Humane on 8/22.
The shelters in the area need our help! They are taking in stray pets, sheltering those whose owners are displaced, and giving out everything they can to help the pets in their community.🐾🥰🐾🤩🐾

Warm weather poses health risks to pets, even on days that don’t seem that hot. Knowing the risks and being prepared can help keep pets safe.

Air quality can affect pets, just like people. Keep your pets indoors during the smokey weather, only out for a potty walk. Avoid long walks when air quality is poor. Smokey air can affect animals eyes, nose, and throat, and put strain on their heart and lungs. Dogs and cats with heart or respiratory conditions are at especially high risk. Use HEPA filters in your home when possible, keep windows closed, and use fans to cool and circulate the air. Be sure fresh water is always available. 🐾🐾🐾

Found Dog - Pitbull, female, white with black spots and black nose. Brought in to our clinic, Companion Animal Hospital, by a Good Samaritan. Dog was found on 7/18/26 about 9:30am, tied to a street sign near the 16700 block of 156th Ave NE and Bel Red Rd in Bellevue. RASKC has been notified. No microchip. Dog is safe with us. Will transfer to RASKC if the owner is not located. Proof of ownership is required. Cross posted on lost and found FB pages and community pages.
