Adopt your best friend today! On October 9, 2013 I brought home my first puppy, Maggie. I always knew she was special! Until they're all home!

A couple of years later we were discussing opening a rescue, and Maggie's Mutt Mission was born. After becoming involved with the No Kill movement in St. Clair County, IL, several volunteers saw a need for more rescues and foster homes in our county. On May 18, 2017, with the support of Amy King (my TNR/rescue partner in crime), Kurt Swanson, Lynn Haas, and Julie Voss, Maggie's Mutt Mission offici

ally opened. Hanna jumped in right away and helped a LOT! Two days later we rescued our first litter of kittens! We are a small TNR and rescue group with big dreams! Update- Diesel went to foster to adopt home. 🤞

Diesel has spent over a year of his life waiting inside a kennel, and we just don’t understand how. 💔

This boy has the goofiest, spunky personality, but he’s also one of the easiest guys to love. He’ll give you about a minute of zoomies, then he’s ready to come inside, plop down in the cool house, and be your couch potato.

Diesel loves his people and does well with other dogs, although we’d prefer a home with just one other dog or he wouldn’t mind being the only dog, he’s just loves people. No cats for this handsome boy.

He has done absolutely nothing wrong. He’s just been waiting. Please don’t let another year of his life be spent looking at the world from inside a kennel.

Chaz is off to a foster-to-adopt home!

He made a new friend, Rosie, and these two got along just great. Now we’re crossing all our fingers and paws that everything works out and this becomes Chaz’s forever home!

Another RTO, Riggs was missing for 3 1/2 weeks. Glad we got him home safe and now microchipped.

Update- Chaz is off to a foster to adopt home 🤞

Sometimes we wonder if Chaz is their emotional support dog… or if they are his. ❤️

Chaz is just about a year old, and one of the sweetest things to watch is the way he seeks out the other dogs. He walks up to their kennels, presses his body against them, and they lean right back into him. There’s something so beautiful about watching them find comfort in each other.

Chaz is a sweet, loving boy with some young-dog energy, and we truly believe he would thrive in a home with another dog by his side.

He’s ready for a family to call his own. ❤️

P.S. The other dogs Chaz is cuddling up against in this video are Cliff and Sarge, and they’re still waiting for their homes too. Don’t forget about them.

If we can find a foster, we can pull this handsome boy! 🩵

Meet Cartel. He’s a small pocket pittie, around 3 years old, and an absolute sweetheart. He does have a chip, but unfortunately no one has been able to reach his owner.

He received his vaccines today and was also seen for his eyes. Sadly, he is blind in his left eye due to something having been tied around his neck for an extended period of time. He was heartworm tested today, and we should have those results tomorrow.

We would love to bring this sweet boy into our rescue, but we need a foster home to make that happen.

Please reach out if you can foster Cartel and help us give him the fresh start he deserves.
