We are HAPPY TO HOST the West Main Village Market in the store this evening. It is SO hot out there and even hotter on that parking lot!! The sun can beat down all it wants to. We are inside tonight!!

The food truck will be right outside. The music will be inside and so will the vendors. Bring your happy, we'll behaved dogs.

Our website is going through some changes! What you see now is boring. You definitely know it is the barkery. Food, treats, a few items listed in ecommerce. What you don't see is the amazing work that's going into it. Stay tuned! It is about to be even better than before!

What we are working on:

* Faster response times when submitting messages though the website
* Amazing virtual storefront that will connect with our physical store
* Up to date events in store and in the community
* No more bakery reviews from 2013 (do not ask me how those got there and why it wasn't removed)
* And much much more! Stay tuned for updates!

Today was a productive day at the store. I got the kittens out while I cleaned up their resort. Joy and Paige were also at the store. Paige had her fill of the kittens yesterday so it was Joy's turn. It was a cute little game of hide and seek. Folgers and Cafe Bustelo are available for adoption from the Belleville Area Humane Society but they are enjoying the dog crowd at The Barkery until they find their home.

This is Folgers. She is one of the kittens available for adoption . The Barkery is part of the Belleville Area Humane Society Retail Foster program. Folgers is sweet, playful and apparently a hard worker! Stop by and meet her and her sister, Cafe Bustelo.
