No groomer wants to have to shave a dog completely down if they don’t have to. However, when a dog comes in this matted, it’s the only humane choice. Often this happens from bathing and not brushing the dog completely out, which I suspect was the case for Snow. Keeping up with routine grooming appointments and brushing out completely with a long toothed comb after baths will keep Snow’s coat in tip top shape!

Almost 8 years ago I left a job to start my grooming business so that I could have the freedom to be home when the kids got home from school.

To be able to attend all of the events.

To be able to get them when they need me.

To be present in their lives, as a single mom while earning an income.

Today, one of those children graduate from high school. I’m so grateful I chose them. I’m so grateful for this business which has allowed me to be the mom I wanted to be while making an income. And, I’m grateful for all of you for helping make this happen.

Louis V - the designer dog with the designer name! No joke, that’s what his mom told me when they brought him home many years ago after their golden retriever 🥰 passed. I love being able to have this kind of relationship with my clients, where we have a long history of stories and antics all related to their dogs. It’s one of the many things I love about this job! 😍

I love it when the client gets super relaxed during its grooming and decides to take a little snooze. 😴 Bingley totally got into relaxation mode during his grooming today!
