En Gedi Ridge Zoo We seek to provide an environment where families can learn, explore, and appreciate God’s creation.

Through animal encounters, educational experiences, and time spent in the beauty of the outdoors, we aim to nurture a sense of gratitude for all God made. We are a family-owned zoo near Bellefontaine, just northwest of Columbus! Private tours are $20 a person for small groups, but for larger groups please reach out to us for group pricing. 🧹We are preparing for all the big tasks ahead of us for the season. It takes a lot of work to keep up with the zoo. That’s why we’re calling on you, our amazing community, for some volunteers to help us get ready.

🐪We already have some wonderful volunteers for many tasks, but we are really looking for some heavy lifters now!
So, calling all Hercules and Popeyes! 💪 We need help with some HEAVY lifting. If you or anyone you know is able to lift a decent amount safely, please reach out to us and help us with our volunteer event this Saturday June 20th! 😎Our first summer event is here and we are so excited to open our doors for the summer season! Meet the babies, feed and pet the animals, and explore the zoo!

🦙Our groups this past week had so much fun interacting with the animals and learning about God’s beautiful creation.

🎟️Group discounts are running from 12-4pm today, but please book ahead to make sure there is still availability! (We might be able to squeeze a smaller group or 2 still!)

It’s going to be a beautiful day, and we can’t wait to see you all and for you to meet the animals!☀️🐢🐐

Eva knows firsthand that parenting isn’t always easy. Sometimes she even wonders if it ever is easy?? Both Marcy and Hope give her a run for her money. Either way, it’s a great responsibility and privilege to raise, shape and mentor the lives around you.
We are so excited to see all the parents/guardians and celebrate you this Saturday 6/13 for our first summer event: Parents Day! Enjoy group discounts for your family. Admission includes: feed for the animals, your own self-guided tour with volunteers nearby to answer questions and assist guiding you through the zoo. 🦓🐪

“From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised!” 🌅 Good morning everyone!

No, your eyes do not deceive you: we have another baby zebra! 🦓 And what a beautiful moment captured right here in our own zoo. Our herd is getting large, and on this quiet Wednesday morning, they’re gathered together as we feed them their breakfast. A natural instinct of zebras is to surround the young ones to help make them look bigger and blend in with the herd.

God’s creation of the wild is so unique and intricate. It’s moments like this one that stop us in our tracks to thank Him for this beautiful Earth. If even a broken place like this Earth can amaze us, imagine how much more beautiful heaven will be.🩷 “The skies proclaim the works of His hands.”

This weekend we are opening our doors for our first summer event and we are providing group discounts! 6/13 from 12-4pm:

4 ppl: $60
5 ppl: $70
6 ppl: $80
7 ppl: $90
8 or more need to inquire for specific costs

Admission includes a self-guided tour of the zoo with staff nearby to answer any questions, food to provide the animals, and lots of baby animal snuggles or pets!

🐐 Imagine scheduling your tour with your family to the zoo. It’s a beautiful sunny day, there’s lots of amazing unique animals and everyone’s having a blast. When suddenly… a goat gives birth to not 1… not 2… but 3 babies!!! 👶👶👶

🎉That is exactly what happened to a group earlier this week! We made sure to give mom privacy, but our visitors were taking guesses as to how many babies they think she would birth.
