We are an AAHA accredited veterinary hospital that is dedicated to providing the best healthcare for your pets on a walk-in basis since 1961. At Bluffs Animal Hospital, we know that it is not always convenient to schedule and keep appointments concerning your pets medical care. In addition, illnesses and accidents are unpredictable and occur at inconvenient times. It is for these reasons that sinc

e we opened our doors in 1961, we have enjoyed being a walk-in hospital. Our clients are encouraged to walk in when it is convenient or when their pets need us. Veterinarians are on duty at 8:00 am and are happy to see you and your pets until closing time at 5:30 pm on the weekdays and 12:00pm on Saturdays. Established clientele may also drop off their pets during the day and our staff will provide care as needed. We do make daily appointments for surgery, dental cleanings, boarding, grooming and bathing. Please visit our website for more information.

Happy August!
Important update for the month! 🐾
Every Wednesday for the month Bluffs will be closed for lunch between noon-1pm.
Dates include August 5th, August 12th, August 19th and August 26th
*Also Tuesday August 11th
This means we will not have a doctor on duty during that time. Being that we are walk-in if you arrive at the hospital after 11:30am you will be seen after 1pm.
We will be short staffed for doctors on these days please expect longer wait times.

🐾 Important update for the week🐾
We will be closed for lunch on Friday July 24th between noon-1pm. That means we will not have a doctor on duty during that time but we will remain open for medicine and food pick-ups. The doctors will return at 1pm to see patients. Being that we are walk in if you arrive to our hospital after 11:30am you will be seen after 1pm.
Also a quick reminder that we will be closed Saturday July 25th.

Meet our newest clinic cat Gracie!
She came to us back in 2021 as a 1 year old needing a home and she has had several loving homes but due to some health issues of bladder stones she ended up back to us, we love her so much and have decided to keep her as a hospital cat. You’ll catch her lounging on our several cat beds or stealing a receptionist seat! She is really sweet and would love to meet our bluffs family!
