Everyone meet Bacon, Beans single kitten born yesterday 🥰. They are both scheduled to be fixed on September 20th so no more kittens 😂 thank God. Im sure Beans will not appreciate being locked up for 6 weeks in the kennels but its better than her spay appointment getting pushed back again and having yet another round of kittens.

To say I've been scatterbrained lately is an understatement.
Have I been out in the barn every day doing chores, organizing, and getting everyone sorted? Absolutely.
Have I remembered to take pictures and videos of any of it? Absolutely not. 💀
My phone goes with me to the barn, I set it down, get busy, finish all my chores... walk all the way back to the house... and then realize I left my phone in the barn. 🤦‍♀️😂

So here's the one picture I grabbed on my way back in! The buns are doing great, and I promise I'll try to remember to share more updates... Assuming I remember where I left my phone first. 😅🐇❤️

Well guys... it's that time of year. 😅🪶
Almost all of our girls have started molting, so our egg stand will be taking a little break.

Molting is when chickens shed their old feathers and grow new ones. Since growing feathers takes so much energy, they slow down or completely stop laying eggs for a few weeks.

To put it into perspective... out of 20+ hens, I got 4 eggs today. 🤣 3 of which will go towards the babies breakfast.

We'll let everyone know as soon as the girls are back to filling egg cartons. Thanks for your patience and support! ❤️🥚
