Meet Morgan! ✨

If you’ve visited Harlingen, chances are you’ve met Morgan! As our Lead Receptionist, she’s one of the friendly faces welcoming our clients and their pets through our doors. Morgan has a natural ability to make people feel comfortable and cared for, whether she’s meeting a new patient for the first time or catching up with a familiar face we’ve been seeing for years.

She loves getting to know our patients beyond just what’s on their appointment schedule, their personalities, their quirks, and all the little things that make each one unique. She brings that same genuine care to the families who trust us with their pets and is always ready to support her Harlingen teammates along the way.

When she’s not at the clinic, Morgan is busy being a pet mom to Rocky 🐶 and Herman the chinchilla! 🐭 We’re pretty sure having two very different species at home gives her plenty of stories to share!

We’re thankful for the warmth, care, and personality Morgan brings to Harlingen every day.

Happy Visits Update! 💛🐾

Since introducing our Happy Visit program, we’ve been having so much fun welcoming our patients in for some extra treats, attention, and positive experiences. These visits give our patients the opportunity to spend time in the hospital without the usual expectations of an appointment. Helping them build positive associations and feel more comfortable in our space!

And we’re loving seeing all of the happy faces along the way! 🐶🐱

From routine appointments and surgical procedures to more complex cases, Christina is knowledgeable, adaptable, attentive, and always willing to jump in wherever she’s needed. She has a special passion for our exotic patients, and her experience and dedication help make sure our smaller and more unique patients receive the specialized care they need. 🐰🦎🐹

Meet Bunny! 🐰🤍 Well… technically, she’s a puppy! 🐶

This sweet girl came in for her very first visit with us and completely stole the show. At just 12 weeks old, Bunny is already off to a great start! We loved getting to meet this adorable little face and welcome her to the Harlingen Veterinary Clinic family. 💕

What’s happening behind the scenes during an orthopedic X-ray? 🦴

Here, our technicians Nicole & Emily are working together to obtain orthopedic radiographs on a sedated German Shepherd. 🐾

When evaluating bones, joints, and orthopedic concerns, positioning is extremely important. Sedation allows our team to carefully position a patient while keeping them comfortable and still, helping us obtain clear, diagnostic images for our veterinarians to evaluate.

Orthopedic radiographs can help our doctors assess areas such as the hips, elbows, knees, and other joints for changes that may contribute to pain, lameness, or mobility concerns.

A big part of getting quality X-rays isn't just the equipment — it's proper positioning, teamwork, and patient care. 💙
