Meet Oreo 🖤🤍 this sweet baby is 8 weeks old.
Three weeks ago, little Oreo was found soaking wet, covered in fly strike, and infested with maggots. He had a wound at the base of his tail—an open hole filled with maggots—as well as another wound at the tip of his tail.
Somehow, this tiny kitten held on.
Oreo has been through more in his short life than any kitten should ever have to endure. But despite everything, he has shown an incredible will to live. With care, treatment, and lots of love, Oreo is finally getting the chance he deserves. I don’t know if he will ever have hair where the would on the top of his tail was, but, isn’t that the cutest tail you’ve ever seen!?
His story could have ended that terrible day, but instead, it is becoming a story of survival, healing, and hope.
Oreo is still just a baby, and he deserves a safe, loving home where he can forget the hardships of his past and simply be a kitten—playing, cuddling, purring, and knowing what it feels like to be loved.
He may have been found in the worst condition, but Oreo is proof that even the smallest lives are worth fighting for.
