We really want to keep fixing our neighborhood cats.
The cats are our neighbors, too. ❤️🐾
We are constantly looking for every possible way to meet the needs in our community, but our funds are tighter than ever.
Did you know that even adoptions—as much as we love them—can be expensive for a rescue? The costs of transporting cats to veterinary providers, foster homes, partner rescues, and adopters add up quickly. Repeated trips have also caught up with a rescue vehicle that is nearing the end of its lifespan.
We’ll be searching for another vehicle soon, or we may be grounded for a while. If you—or anyone you know—would be willing to donate a vehicle that can accommodate about 10 traps, the donation may qualify as a tax-deductible charitable contribution to our 501(c)(3) organization. It doesn’t have to be pretty. It just needs to be roomy and RELIABLE.
Most of the cats and kittens who come into our care need veterinary treatment before we can give them the chance to become healthy, happy pets. This year has also brought more than our share of unexpected veterinary needs. And some of the cats who cannot be placed quickly remain in our care for many months—sometimes more than a year—requiring food, litter, flea and other medications, veterinary care, and other ongoing support.
Your support of our rescue, in all its forms, means the world to us.
Whether it’s a cash or food donation, donating a basket for a fundraiser, holding a birthday fundraiser on Facebook, sharing our Facebook posts, purchasing a raffle ticket, or simply telling someone about the work we do—this is what keeps us rescuing, vetting, transporting, and fixing cats.
And stopping by one of our community events matters, too. It lets us know that you care about this work and want us to keep going.
