“You’ve got to see this horse.”

That’s what the team at Spendthrift told us when we first started talking about Provenance as a stallion prospect. Yesterday, a lot of you walked away from our Stallion Show with that exact same feeling.

Provenance stands in 2027 for a $2,000 stud fee.

Available for inspection by appointment.

Winner alert! This handsome dude scored his maiden win at Laurel yesterday for his owner/breeder/trainers Mike & Marie Trombetta and Trombetta Stables LLC! 2-year-old Dolce Far Niente (Vino Rosso - Our Bella Nicole) won by over 7 lengths. He's the first foal out of his dam and was born at Country Life - congratulations to all!

Busy week ahead for Country Life:

Saturday, Josh talks “Letters from Country Life” at the Aberdeen Library. The story of Adolphe Pons, Man o’ War, and a whole bunch of Maryland horse history thrown in.
Sunday, our gates are open for the Stallion Show and formally welcoming Provenance to the roster.
And the following Saturday, we’ll be at Laurel Park for the Maryland Million.

DM for details, hoping to see many of you in the coming days!
