We have been informed by Wedgewood Pharmacy that they have initiated a product recall for a variety of medications. This recall was initiated due to potency concerns.

If you purchased any medication directly from Wedgewood you should have received a separate notification regarding the recall. If you have not received notification you can look up your medication at https://www.wedgewood.com/recall-lookup/. If you have purchased a recalled product directly from Wedgewood you can complete a form electronically at www.wedgewoodrecall.expertinquiry.com. After completing the form, you will receive confirmation with further instructions.

If your cat is currently taking medication and it cannot be provided by Wedgewood in a timely manner please contact Cat Sense so we can determine next steps. It may be possible to use an alternate medication, or source from another pharmacy.

Multiple lots of Gabapentin 50mg Tiny Tabs purchased from Wedgewood by Cat Sense and distributed to clients were included in this recall. If you received Gabapentin 50mg Tiny Tabs between Feb 18, 2026 and Oct 6, 2026 directly from Cat Sense you may have received an affected lot. The affected lots have the following expiration dates: Dec 7, 2026, Feb 12, 2027, Mar 15, 2027.

If your cat is currently taking Gabapentin 50mg Tiny Tabs with one of these expiration dates please call Cat Sense. We will provide you with another prescription of Gabapentin so there is no disruption to your cat's medication schedule.

If you are not currently using it, but you have Gabapentin 50mg Tiny Tabs with one of these expiration dates please contact Cat Sense via email for next steps. If you have already depleted the Gabapentin, it is not necessary to contact us.

if your cat is vomiting more than once within an hour, especially if the vomit is bloody. Your cat could have swallowed a foreign object or she could be suffering from liver or kidney disease. Intestinal disturbances and poisoning also cause frequent vomiting.
