Who I follow on this page is trustworthy breeders. Small farm that is located in the quiet town of Beggs, OK. While we do other outdoor activities and raise other animals, we specialize in growing Silkies, and Showgirls. Each year we work towards their standard of perfection. Mixed breed eggs are finally hatching! The excitement of a surprise is so fun! 🎉 Besides some Silkie eggs, everything in here is from darker tan to olive green eggs so if I keep any I *should* have a better opportunity at pretty egg layers. 😂

The possibilities are endless: Paint, black, cuckoo, blue, splash, naked necks, big crests, fussy feet and so much more!

🌺 ALSO - Being offered this spring with my coops...

Because of my life changing over to horses and not chickens, I'm preparing to sell my 10x6 Dog kennels/pannels.

Initially I wasn't going to sell them but after talking with my husband we've decided that we're just not going to homestead as much as we initially planned. I'd rather sell these and buy the horse pen panels I actually need NOW rather than let them sit in a corner and have grass grow through them. I'll keep a few for random cases, but as of now I've counted 30 panels that I'll be letting go.

📌 Please understand I'm battling a neck/shoulder injury from a wreak I was involved in. It's delayed my ability to get things done around the farm. Once I have all of the panels rounded up, counted, and ready to be hauled off, I will make a post! Please be patient. 🫶🏼

When I make the "available" posts, I'll make sure to do a tag for everyone.

Today we experienced wind gusts as high as 65-70+ MPH causing power outages. I'm surprised I personally don't have any major damage on my farm to be honest.

There are grass fires everywhere, small and substantial in size. The air is literally smoke and dust. I took this photo when I went to town around 5:30PM (sunset is at 7:30ish), and it is NOT edited and has zero filters. So many towns and areas have been evacuated, and it's not even close to being over with for the night.

Thank you to all of the 1st responders (and lineman) working overtime tonight to help and keep us safe. Especially our firefighters! We love you all!

Update:
I've been able to get outside and really address the feeders, waterers, and chicken supplies in general.

I will be listing a bunch of supplies by the weekend. The feeders and waterers won't be spotless clean, but they will be usable. SUPER cheap prices to get all the stuff moved.

Heads up - This Spring I will be fixing up my FOUR Silkie coops and selling them all. New doors, windows, latches, paint... the works. They will be like new to whoever decides to buy them. Anyone that's a breeder with Silkies... These will be up your alley. Stay tuned. 🌞

After a month of hit and miss sickness, and some monitoring outside, Lil Sue (blue satin from my line) is healthy and happy again! My girl is so excited to get "Sue cuddles" from her favorite head dunking, fluffy friend again! My heart is so happy.

To ensure that we always have "Lil Sues", I will be breeding her to my Splash Silkie boy, EnchantedMagic.
That's the only real breeding I'll be doing for 2025. ❤️
