ADOPTABLES LOOKING FOR THEIR FOREVER!

We have some wonderful birds waiting for their forever families, and some have been waiting far too long. Let’s get these babies HOME!
DARCY & ELIZABETH — BONDED PAIR OF LORIKEETS, 3 YEARS OLD
These two have been here the LONGEST with absolutely no interest, and I genuinely cannot understand why. This one really hurts my heart. 🥺
Darcy and Elizabeth are goofy, rambunctious little clowns who are also incredibly sweet. They have so much personality and so much love to give the right family.
Elizabeth steps up and is an absolute doll baby! Darcy, on the other hand, is a bit of a hormonal, stubborn little man. They each have their own personalities, and that’s part of what makes them so special.
They eat a nectar-based diet supplemented with fresh chop and plenty of fruit, so potential adopters must be prepared for their specialized dietary needs.
I’ve even REDUCED their adoption fees, hoping to help them find a home, and still… nothing.
I truly don’t understand how these two keep getting overlooked. They deserve a family of their own, too. They deserve to be someone’s beloved companions instead of continually waiting here while other birds find their homes.
If you have experience with lorikeets and are prepared for their unique care requirements, PLEASE consider this sweet pair. They need someone to give them a chance. ❤️
BUSTINA — 18-YEAR-OLD BLUE-FRONTED AMAZON
This girl is an absolute CHARACTER!
Bustina mimics a newborn crying, whistles her own made-up tunes, greets you with “Hi Buster,” and makes possessed demon noises when you least expect it. 😂 You genuinely never know what is going to come out of her mouth next!
She’s a wonderful flier, a sweet and loving baby, and has so much personality to share with her future family.
Bustina does seem to lean toward women and would likely be happiest with a female primary caretaker. She does NOT attack men; she simply seems to prefer women.
If you’re looking for an intelligent, entertaining Amazon with a big personality, Bustina could be your girl!
NICO & BOSCO — SENIOR AMAZON DUO
Nico is a Blue-Fronted Amazon, and Bosco is a Double Yellow-Headed Amazon. Both are believed to be in their 30s or older.
These boys have lived in the same home, side by side, for over 10 years. While I don’t believe they are bonded, they are accustomed to each other’s presence, and we would love to see them placed together if the right home is available.
Important information about Nico’s special needs:
Nico is blind or very nearly blind. I suspect he may still perceive light and shadows, but his vision is extremely limited. He relies on Bosco’s presence and sounds around him to help navigate his environment.
Nico needs a carefully arranged, appropriately sized cage with a perch that runs the length of the cage, allowing him to shuffle back and forth to reach his food and water bowls without risking a fall or injury.
He does not need an excessively large cage that could make navigating more difficult, but he absolutely needs a cage that is appropriately sized for his species and thoughtfully arranged for his disability.
These boys will need TWO SEPARATE CAGES. They are not currently housed together, and their future home must be prepared to provide each bird with his own safe space.
Nico needs an adopter who understands that caring for a visually impaired bird requires patience, consistency, environmental stability, and thoughtful accommodations.
These boys are older, and we want their next home to be one where they can enjoy the rest of their lives with safety, comfort, and love.

We are located in Beech Creek, PA. We do not ship birds.
Adoption is not first-come, first-served. Our priority is finding the RIGHT home for each individual bird, and every application is reviewed with that in mind.
