REVIVAL AT AYERS FAMILY FARM 🤍🙏

There are some things that happen in life that you plan…and then there are things you simply feel God placing on your heart.

About two months ago, I began feeling a very strong pull to have a revival here at the farm.

Not an event just for the sake of having an event. I felt called to open these gates, invite people onto this property, worship together, and intentionally invite the Lord into this place for His purpose.

From the very beginning, I have believed God led us to this farm.

What started from a place of tremendous loss has grown into a place where people come to serve, connect, heal, breathe, and sometimes simply feel like they belong. We have watched rescued and rehomed horses begin again, and we have watched people begin again right beside them.

Healing horses. Healing people. Restoring hope.

And now, I believe God is asking us to make room for something more.

We are so grateful to be partnering with Tree of Life Ministries for a special outdoor Revival Service at Ayers Family Farm. Their Praise Team will lead us in worship, followed by a message from Pastor Mike, and we’ll spend the afternoon together in worship, God’s Word, prayer, fellowship, and community.

You do not have to have everything figured out to come.

Maybe your faith is strong.
Maybe you’re searching.
Maybe life has worn you down.
Maybe you need prayer.
Maybe you just need somewhere to sit for a little while and remember that hope still exists.

Come. You are welcome here.

During the service, Tree of Life Ministries will also be receiving an offering that they have graciously chosen to donate to Ayers Family Farm to help care for the farm, our animals, and support the work taking place here. We are incredibly humbled and grateful for their generosity.

Ayers Family Farm is a 33-acre family farm and the home of Mae’s Haven, a ministry with a powerful mission: “Healing horses. Healing people. Restoring hope.” Mae’s Haven was created in memory of Juliauna Mae, who passed away in 2021 at just 20 years old. Out of unimaginable loss came a vision to create a place where rescued and rehomed horses could find healing while also providing a place of hope, connection, and restoration for people who are hurting.

Through horses, nature, service, and community, Mae’s Haven has welcomed people from many walks of life, including veterans, at-risk youth, domestic violence survivors, individuals in recovery, families, students, volunteers, and others who simply need a safe place to belong and breathe.

During this special service, the offering received will be donated to Ayers Family Farm to help support the farm, its animals, and the meaningful work taking place there.

Come ready to worship, hear the Word, and spend an afternoon together in a beautiful setting while supporting a place that is making a difference in the lives of people throughout our community. 💚

UPDATE - postponed to October 21st due to rain!

🌿 October Wellness in Nature - Emotional Health and Su***de Prevention 🐴

Join the Cloverlea Foundation this Wednesday at Mae's Haven for a meaningful evening exploring how nature, animals, and connection can support us through grief and mental health struggles.

Mandy and the Mae’s Haven team will share an immersive demonstration of equine-assisted approaches they have used in their programs, with opportunities for participants to engage with the horses and other farm animals on the property.

We’ll also come together for an open, thoughtful conversation about mental health and su***de prevention and explore ways that time in nature can be a supportive tool as we navigate difficult seasons in our lives.

This program is open to youth, young adults, and adults, and we especially encourage you to share it with someone who might appreciate an evening of connection, animals, nature, and meaningful conversation.

We are grateful to Centra Bedford Memorial Hospital for supporting the Wellness in Nature Series and helping us make these community wellness experiences possible.

What is Ayers Family Farm and why does it matter?

Ayers Family Farm is our 33-acre family farm in Bedford, Virginia, and it is the home of Mae’s Haven.

Mae’s Haven was created in memory of our daughter, Juliauna Mae—our Auna—who we lost in 2021 at just 20 years old. Losing her changed every part of our lives, and out of that unimaginable grief came a deep desire to create something meaningful that could bring hope and healing to other people who were hurting.

When I began looking for a farm, I already knew what I wanted it to become. I wasn’t simply looking for property or a place to live. I was looking for land where we could rescue horses, give them a safe place to heal, and then allow those same horses to become part of therapeutic and healing experiences for people.

That vision is what led us to Ayers Family Farm.

I had experienced firsthand how powerful the connection between people, animals, nature, and purpose could be during some of the hardest moments of my own life. I wanted to create a place where someone could come when life felt heavy and find something they may not be able to find anywhere else—a quiet place to breathe, a horse to stand beside, meaningful work to do, people who cared, and a reminder that their story was not over.

Mae’s Haven carries Auna’s middle name because she is at the heart of why this work matters so deeply to us. Her life mattered. Her story matters. And we want the love we have for her to continue reaching people through a place built around compassion, connection, healing, and hope.

Here at the farm, we care for rescued and rehomed horses and other animals, but the animals are only part of the story. We use the farm, the horses, nature, and community to create a safe place for people who are hurting, struggling, rebuilding, or simply need somewhere they feel like they belong.

The horses we rescue often come with stories of their own, and there is something incredibly powerful about watching a horse and a person—both carrying things from their past—begin to experience trust, connection, safety, and healing together.

Over the years, we have welcomed people from our community through partnerships and programs involving Recovery Court, probation services, family services, veterans, domestic violence survivors, at-risk youth, schools, homeschool families, volunteers, and others. People come here to volunteer, serve their community, spend time with the animals, learn, heal, and sometimes simply breathe for a little while.

We also host community events, youth activities, horse-centered healing experiences, volunteer opportunities, weddings and celebrations through Ayers Family Farm, and other gatherings that help support the property and keep this place operating.

Our belief has always been simple: sometimes healing doesn’t happen inside four walls.

Sometimes it looks like standing beside a horse.

Sometimes it looks like working with your hands, walking through a pasture, sitting quietly beside an animal, finding purpose through serving others, or being surrounded by people who care.

And sometimes healing begins with simply realizing there is still a place in this world where you belong.

That is why saving Ayers Family Farm matters so much to us.

We aren’t simply trying to save a piece of property. We are trying to preserve the home where this mission lives, keep our animals together, and protect a place that has become meaningful to so many people in our community.

This farm was purchased with this purpose in mind from the very beginning. The vision was always to create a place where rescued horses could heal alongside people who needed healing too. What we could never have fully imagined was how many people would eventually walk through these gates and become part of it.

Mae’s Haven’s mission is:

Healing horses. Healing people. Restoring hope.

Every person who contributes, shares our story, volunteers, visits, or helps us keep going becomes part of that mission. 🤍

A little reminder that our 5 FOR THE FARM challenge is still going! 🤍🐴

If you haven’t joined in yet, we would truly love to have you be part of it.

The idea is simple:

🤍 Give $5
🤍 Challenge 5 friends
🤍 Ask them to give $5 & challenge 5 more

Then share, share, share.

You can make a quick video, share this flyer, post a picture, or simply copy the challenge and tag your five people. It doesn’t have to be fancy — we just need people willing to help keep it moving.

Every new person who sees this gives the campaign another chance to reach someone who wants to help us fight to keep Ayers Family Farm, our animals, and this place of healing together.

🐴 Give $5 here:

And even if you can’t give right now, please share the flyer. Your share may be what gets it in front of the right person.
