When you're part of the horse community, supporting the people and events that keep it thriving is always worth celebrating.
Farriers' Fix was proud to donate welcome bag items for Spring Run Farm's 50th Annual Horse Trials, a milestone event recognized as the oldest eventing show in Kentucky and one of the longest-running eventing competitions in the United States.
With nearly 100 competitors in attendance, riders received samples of Farriers' Fix Hoof Oil, Equine Flavor Fix, and other goodies as part of their welcome bags. The feedback was incredible. Organizers reported that riders were especially excited to receive the hoof oil, while Equine Flavor Fix quickly proved its value in the barn.
Shortly after the event, one rider reached out looking to swap her raffle prize for additional Equine Flavor Fix packets. Her horse, recovering from a puncture wound and taking medication that affected its appetite, had stopped eating grain. After trying Equine Flavor Fix, the horse cleaned up its feed. Another horse at the facility experienced similar results, prompting riders to share packets and spread the word throughout the barn.
Stories like these are exactly why we do what we do.
A huge congratulations to owner Susan Perellis, Spring Run Farm, and everyone involved in making the 50th anniversary event such a success. We're honored to have played a small role in supporting an event that has been bringing riders together for half a century.
