Our little beach crew is officially one week old! They’ve spent their first days doing exactly what growing puppies should—eating, sleeping, and snuggling close to mama.

Everyone is growing beautifully, and we’re already seeing those precious little features begin to develop. In just another week, tiny eyes will start to open, and a whole new chapter of their journey will begin.

For now, we’re simply soaking in these sweet, sleepy newborn days. 🌊☀️🐾

Meet By Design’s Made Ya Look “Gucci”

Every once in a while, a puppy comes along that makes the decision easy. Gucci is that puppy.

From the beginning, she has had a presence about her. Bold, confident, intelligent, and endlessly curious, she approaches life with a self-assurance that is impossible to ignore. She is always eager to explore, quick to engage, and loves being right in the middle of whatever is happening.

Structurally, Gucci is everything we hoped she would be. She is beautifully balanced with excellent proportions, strong bone, a lovely head, and a gorgeous outline. We couldn’t be happier with how she is maturing.

Genetically, she is exactly what we strive for:

At just 7 weeks old, Gucci has already earned her place in our future plans. She combines the temperament, structure, and genetics that we work so hard to preserve and improve with each generation.

Most importantly, she has that special spark that can’t be measured on paper. The kind that makes you stop, watch, and know she’s meant to stay.

We’re excited to watch this beautiful girl grow and become part of the future of By Design.

The House Collection Update 🏡

At 7 weeks old, The House Collection is thriving.
All of the puppies recently completed their wellness exams and received excellent reports from our veterinarian. We are grateful to see healthy, happy puppies growing exactly as they should.

Over the past several weeks, the puppies have been busy exploring new sights, sounds, surfaces, and everyday experiences. Socialization and confidence-building remain a daily focus as we help prepare them for the world around them.

Crate training is in full swing, and the puppies are making great progress. We're also continuing to introduce household routines, enrichment activities, and plenty of positive interactions with people.

One of our favorite parts of raising a litter is watching each puppy's unique personality begin to shine. Every day brings new discoveries, playful moments, and plenty of puppy snuggles.

As this chapter begins to wind down, we're soaking up every minute with this special group. It has been a joy watching them grow and develop over the past seven weeks.
