I’ve been a little MIA lately and we’re finally starting to get back to the swing of things.
After bringing home a healthy baby girl last month, I had less then a month to prepare for a goal that I’ve had for over 5 years. Typically to prepare for something like this, I would have been training multiple times a week with my club, but family comes first so I trained when I could at home, and trusted in the work that we have put in. This past weekend I competed with my dog Rico and accomplished our goal of earning our Mondioring 3 title. It wasn’t the score I know we’re capable of, but I’m so proud of my dog and we learned things that I could have only learned from going out there and putting our training on the line. Mondioring has three phases, Obedience, Jumps, and protection, and the thing I’m most proud of is we didn’t loose a single point during Obedience! Now it’s back to work! I will be trying to catch up on calls and messages but if you’ve reached out about training over the past month please reach out again as I’ll be starting to schedule more private lesson clients this month, and board and trains for after the holidays!
