We had a blast at Germantown this weekend.
Here is a little back story…
One of our clients who is also a dear friend said “ hey what about some scurry races?
Allen said I AM IN. Neither him or Holly Powell had ever done anything like this and neither had these two AMAZING gypsies. One has been in training 40 days here ( Knox the black gypsy) Leo ( the red roan) came back to learn this. Both have only been practicing with Allen about an hour a day each for 10 days. Both are young 3 year old and a 4 year old. Although Allen could set up the patterns in our arena we didn’t take in to account the plants, the high panels, and a crowd of hundreds of people.
I am so proud of Allen and his navigator/ leaner Holly Powell. Holly was nervous before she entered that bowl but after her first run she was hooked. I am SO proud of these horses, Allen’s training and driving and Holly for her courage!!!
I wish I could have posted all 3 complete runs they did with each horse but time wouldn’t allow.
These two teams finished 5th out of 12 in all 3 of their classes which I think is AMAZING.
You’re both winners in my book for even getting out there.
Allen even had time to give a very sweet child and daughter of another client a short driving lesson. Those youth are our future and we will ALWAYS make time for them.

My response is going to be “ it isn’t the right fit for you”

Let’s chat about the breed, let’s chat about that particular horse. Let’s chat about what exactly you’re looking for. Let’s chat about my responsibilities as breeder or owner of this horse and what I will do for you and your horse when it leaves here. I don’t accept a fee and you will never hear from me again. Nope I’m here for you and the life of your horse as long as you own it and that is something I am VERY PROUD OF.
If your only question is how much, it just isn’t the right fit for you.

First and foremost a healthy foaling for mom & baby.

Alis has always had BIG beautiful babies!! I know this isn’t the best picture of her it’s just a pasture picture. (yes I used AI Just for ribbon). The bone, conformation, hair, brain, size and bloodlines that her and sire have should make for an outstanding foal!!
I would be telling a story if I said I may be hoping for a certain color possibility as well. I don’t know that we will keep the foal but there is a certain color possibility I’d love to see. If you know Allen and I then you already know what that is.

EXCEPTIONAL!!!

Knox has been here 2 weeks in training so far and just watch this guy go!!!
He is going to be perfect for a youth and ladies!!! He is a small guy standing at 13.1. with a little more growing to do.

Knox doesn’t have a care in the world and has a brain that is second to none. He is still a stallion but his owner is willing to have him gelded at no additional cost to the right home.

I didn’t add music so you can actually hear what’s going on. Hook and walk off. Turn on a dime. Can you imagine with another month under his belt?? Exceptional!!
