🚨 FOUND HUSKY — PLEASE SHARE! 🚨

A Good Samaritan recently found this handsome male Husky, and we are hoping YOU can help us get him back home! 🐺❤️

He is safe, unharmed, happy, and alert, and the kind person who found him is currently keeping him safe and caring for him.

Delaware Animal Clinic has made multiple attempts to contact the owner listed on his registered microchip, but we have not yet been able to reach them.

If you recognize this sweet boy, PLEASE SHARE this post! Even if you don’t know him personally, someone you know may recognize him or know where he belongs.

He is safe for now, but he needs to get back to his people as soon as possible. ❤️

If you believe he may be your dog, please contact us. We have the finder’s contact information and can help connect you with the person currently caring for him.

☀️ Pool Days Are More Fun When They're Safe! 🐾

Many pets love cooling off in the pool during these hot summer days, but there are a few things every pet parent should know:

🏊 Don't let your pet drink pool water. Small amounts usually aren't harmful, but drinking too much chlorinated water can lead to stomach upset, vomiting, diarrhea, and dehydration.

💧 Always provide fresh, cool drinking water nearby so your pet isn't tempted to drink from the pool.

🛟 Not all dogs can swim well. Even strong swimmers can become tired quickly. Never leave your pet unattended around the pool and consider a properly fitted life jacket if they're inexperienced or swimming in deeper water.

🌡️ Watch for signs of overheating. Swimming helps cool them down, but pets still need plenty of shade and breaks out of the sun.

🧴 Rinse your pet off after swimming. A quick rinse helps remove chlorine and other pool chemicals from their skin and coat, reducing irritation.

🐾 Teach your pet where the steps are. Make sure they know how to safely get out of the pool before letting them swim.

A little preparation goes a long way in keeping summer pool days safe and enjoyable for everyone!

Have a fun and safe summer from all of us at Delaware Animal Clinic! 💙
