Senior pets don’t handle summer heat the same way they used to. ☀️🐾

As pets age, it becomes harder for their bodies to regulate temperature efficiently — especially for those with arthritis, heart disease, respiratory conditions, or extra weight.

That means hot days can feel exhausting much faster, even during normal activities they once loved. 🩺

You may notice:
💙 Slower walks
💙 More panting
💙 Sleeping more during the day
💙 Less interest in outdoor activity

Sometimes the kindest thing we can do for senior pets is slow down with them.

Shorter walks, cooler hours, extra water, shaded rest spots, and air conditioning can make a big difference in helping older pets stay safe and comfortable through the summer months.

They may not move as quickly anymore — but they still love every moment spent with you. 🐶🐱

📋 Wednesday Office Supervisor Report 📋

Office Supervisor Guy has completed his midweek inspections and would like to report the following:

✔️ Snack drawer security remains highly questionable
✔️ Keyboard occupancy levels continue to exceed acceptable limits
✔️ Morning meetings were interrupted twice for mandatory chin scratches
✔️ Sunbeam quality control testing has been thorough and ongoing since 8:07 AM
✔️ One pen was successfully knocked off the desk in the interest of workplace safety

Supervisor Guy would also like everyone to know that productivity improves significantly when treats are distributed on schedule. Failure to comply may result in additional desk sitting, judgmental staring, and emergency fluff deployment.

Happy Wednesday from the tiny boss with the biggest attitude. 🐾

Good morning from feline office supervisor Guy. Today’s agenda includes supervising absolutely everything, strategically blocking at least one important pathway, and ensuring all keyboard activity receives proper paw approval. Productivity may fluctuate depending on treat distribution and the quality of sunbeam access throughout the office.

Guy has completed his early patrol, inspected all snack-related operations, and is currently accepting admiration from staff while pretending not to care. Please direct any complaints to management, though management is also Guy.

Monday Morning Report from Office Feline Supervisor Guy

Good morning, staff. Supervisor Guy has officially clocked in for another demanding Monday of overseeing operations from the most inconvenient spot possible. Early inspections included checking food bowl levels, testing keyboard durability with strategic tail placement, and conducting surprise hallway zoomies to keep morale high.

Several important issues have already been noted:

* The treat distribution schedule remains unacceptable.
* Too many emails are being answered instead of petting the supervisor.
* One sunbeam has been claimed for executive use until further notice.

Guy would also like it documented that sitting directly in the middle of the floor is not “being in the way” — it is a critical management technique. Employees are encouraged to step carefully and offer compliments as they pass.

Wishing everyone a productive Monday filled with minimal meetings, maximum snacks, and at least one well-earned nap. 🐾

06/21/2026

“He didn’t want a pet.”
Now they:
🐾 Share a recliner
🐾 Have matching nap schedules
🐾 Go on daily “supervised perimeter checks” around the yard
🐾 Somehow have full conversations with each other

Honestly, some of the strongest pet bonds we see are between dads and their pets. 💙

Whether it’s early morning walks, sharing snacks they definitely weren’t supposed to share, or becoming the official thunderstorm comfort person — pets have a way of turning dads into total softies.

Happy Father’s Day to all the pet dads, step-pet dads, grand-pet dads, and “I said we’re NOT getting a dog” dads out there. 🐶🐱

Friday report from feline office supervisor Guy:

“Good morning, staff. After a full week of dedicated supervision, keyboard inspections, hallway patrols, and unauthorized snack audits, I have decided morale remains acceptable… barely.

Today’s schedule includes:
• Sitting directly in the walkway
• Yelling at invisible problems
• Demanding treats five minutes after breakfast
• Staring out the window like I pay the mortgage
• Leaving one single toy in the middle of the floor as a safety hazard

Please note that productivity may decrease this afternoon due to scheduled sunbeam occupancy and an important nap summit under the desk.

As we head into the weekend, remember: your emails can wait, but my dinner absolutely cannot.

Stay hydrated, stay unhinged, and keep the treat jar accessible.

– Guy, Feline Office Supervisor & Director of Floor Operations”

Fireworks and summer storms can be stressful for pets — and for many dogs and cats, the anxiety starts long before the noise does. 🎆⛈️

In fact, studies suggest over 70% of dogs display stress-related behaviors, and as many as 50% of cats experience emotional stress at some point in their lives. 🐾

Shaking, hiding, pacing, vocalizing, clinginess, or trying to escape are all common signs of noise anxiety.

The good news? Planning ahead can make a BIG difference. 🩺💙

During June, talk with our team about safe, appropriate options to help your pet feel calmer and more secure during high-noise events.

Preparing early can help reduce fear, panic, and injury before peak summer celebrations begin.

📞 Call today to schedule your pet’s anxiety visit before the end of June.

Good morning from feline office supervisor Guy. Today’s schedule began with a thorough inspection of the food bowl levels, an aggressive campaign against unattended pens, and a strategic nap directly across the most important paperwork in the office. Productivity may suffer, but morale remains extremely high.

Guy would also like it noted that all employees are expected to provide head scratches promptly and without attitude. Failure to comply may result in judgmental staring from atop the filing cabinet.

Midweek update: the office remains secure, the sunbeam situation is acceptable, and several mysterious hallway noises are currently under investigation. Guy will continue supervising operations from the softest chair available.

Happy Wednesday from the fluffiest manager in the business. 🐾
