School is officially out, so we’ve added a few more spots to this week’s lesson schedule with HW Riding Lessons at Middle Fork Stables! 🐴💕

Available lesson times:
Thursday: 4pm & 5pm
Friday: 8am, 9am (30 mins), 4pm & 5pm

There is nothing more rewarding than watching these kiddos — and adults too — grow in confidence, learn new skills, and progress each week. Riding lessons teach so much more than just how to ride a horse. They teach patience, responsibility, perseverance, confidence, communication, and respect. The lessons learned in the saddle often carry over into everyday life. ❤️

🌦️ Middle Fork Stables Weather Policy 🐴
Your safety—and our horses’ well-being—always come first. While we do our best to ride in a variety of conditions, there are times when weather requires us to reschedule.
We do ride in light to moderate rain as long as there is no thunder, lightning, or high winds. A little rain won’t stop a good trail ride!
However, we will delay or cancel rides in the event of:
⛈️ Thunderstorms or lightning
🌪️ Severe weather or high winds
🌧️ Heavy, steady rain that impacts trail safety
🥶 Extreme temperatures (hot or cold) that could be unsafe for riders or horses
If weather becomes an issue, we will reach out as soon as possible to reschedule your ride. We always try to give plenty of notice, but Kentucky weather can change quickly, and sometimes decisions are made close to ride time.
We appreciate your understanding—this helps us protect our horses, our guests, and the quality of your experience on the trail.
