Have you ever felt like you just didn't fit into the way everyone else seemed to do life?
For as long as I can remember, I've had ideas, LOTS of them. I'd get excited about a new opportunity, a new business, a new way to serve people. There were many times I wondered what other people thought. Did it look like I couldn't make up my mind? Was I trying to do too much?
Recently, someone helped me better understand my Human Design blueprint, and for the first time, so much of my life made sense.
I realized I'm not wired to build just one thing. I'm wired to create, connect, and bring ideas to life in ways that serve people. My vision of combining my ideas to create an ecosystem that uses my gifts to serve is a gift and when I stopped comparing myself to others and stepped back, I realized IT IS MY path to follow and I CAN DO it.
Cleaning has never been just about cleaning for me.
Building and selling my first cleaning company taught me so much more than how to run a business. It taught me leadership, resilience, the value of building relationships, and that serving people with integrity and honesty will always matter most to me.
Today, Clearly Clean, LLC continues to connect me with incredible clients while opening the door to relationships with amazing women who are building businesses, chasing their dreams, and creating their own legacy. It keeps me connected to the industry I love while allowing me to pour into others and support their dreams.
My Facebook group, Cleaning Business Women: Rise & Lead, allows me to encourage women in business. The County Cleaner Connection
lets me help strengthen our industry through collaboration and giving back to our local community.
Only Maids Podcast Only Maids gives me another opportunity to share, learn, and grow alongside incredible professionals. Five and a Half North Farm and Pet & Home Care allow me to create meaningful experiences and care for people (and my love of furballs) in a different way. https://www.5northfarm.com/
I've realized I have not built a collection of businesses and that none of these things are separate.
I am building an ecosystem, one where each piece supports each of the ideas I have had, where relationships matter, where service comes first, and where every experience I've had has prepared me for the next piece of the ecosystem.
Maybe that's why I've always felt different. I did not understand and connect with my true self, and I am ok with that. I am actually grateful for it.
I'm learning that we don't all have to build our lives the same way. Some people are meant to follow a straight path. Others are meant to build bridges between passions, experiences, and people.
Years ago, I designed a flow chart of ideas that hangs on my office wall. I had no idea how those things would connect. Sometimes, I thought I needed to slow down and stop dreaming of such a big impact.
Where I was wrong was the timing of my journey and how long it would take me to become the person that was ready to serve in this capacity. I was wrong to not trust myself and the vision and ideas I have been given.
For years, I thought feeling different was something I needed to "fix." I thought I needed to focus more. I took course after course, but they all taught one thing, stay laser focused to find balance on ONE thing. I used to identify that feeling as indecision. It was not that, yet it was the one thing I wrestled to the ground.
I feel peaceful when I follow multiple passions, I feel most ME when I am creating, inspiring and serving and I finally feel settled with WHO I AM.
Whether you've trusted Clearly Clean with your home or business, joined us for a farm activity at Five and a Half North Farm, trusted me with your pets and home, are part of Cleaning Business Women: Rise & Lead, support County Cleaner Connection, listen to the Only Maids Podcast, or simply cheer me on from the sidelines... THANK YOU!
These are all pieces of ME. These are all of my passions and experiences combined to inspire, serve and impact you and that is what I LOVE to do and who I am meant to be❤️
I can't tag or begin to thank everyone who supports me in my journey, but I am grateful for so many people who show up, support and guide me.
