Nothing makes us happier than seeing our graduates thriving with their families! Indie’s owner sent us this photo from a trip to the Lowe's. High ceilings, rolling carts, and echoey hardware store aisles can be overwhelming for a lot of dogs, but Indie stayed composed, focused, and held a perfect sit. When training transfers seamlessly from our trainers back to the owner, that’s where the real magic happens. Beautiful job, Indie!

Teaching a dog to balance on unique, uneven, or moving obstacles is one of the best ways to build body awareness and environmental confidence. It builds trust in their handler and foreign environments become much less intimidating. 🐾

Bikes passing on the ridge, kids walking on the path, and a crowded park pavilion...public outings present plenty of potential distractions! During field trips like this one to Rady Park, we take what dogs learn in our Board & Train program and test it in real environments. Proofing behaviors in everyday settings builds the confidence dogs need to be reliable companions wherever you take them.

It’s been less than a year since Jovie graduated from training, and she has come such a long way. After passing her therapy dog test and becoming certified in May, she’s now an active member of our team alongside her mom!
She still visits us for boarding too. We always love seeing her! 💙 It's been awesome watching her grow and succeed. 🐾

Ziggy and Grace are working on their confidence and learning expectations stay the same no matter who’s holding the leash. Partway through the session, they switch handlers and keep working. Consistency matters for a dog to respond reliably to more than just one familiar person. 🐾
