K-9 Caring Angels mission is to provide service, therapy, and comfort to the community through our well trained and rigorously tested Service, Therapy, and Comfort Canines. Our organization includes dedicated Therapy Teams, Trainers, Fosters, and Volunteers who are integral in taking a canine with great potential and molding that potential into a happy, focused and obedient dog who is ready and ea

A big milestone for Chloe! 👏🐶

This was Chloe's very first public training outing, and she absolutely crushed it! Public environments introduce all kinds of new sights, sounds, smells, and distractions, making them an important step in any dog's training journey.

Chloe did a fantastic job staying focused and working through the new environment and received tons of compliments on her behavior from people she met along the way. 🐾

Weekend vibes with Chester ☀️🐶🌊

Chester enjoyed some time by the lake soaking up the sunshine and taking in the views. Between training sessions, it's important for our dogs to get out and experience new environments while building confidence and enjoying the world around them.

Jordi is making great progress in her training! 🐶

Jordi the Mini Aussie has been working on loose leash heel, sits when stopping, and building the foundational obedience skills that will set her up for success moving forward.

Beyond the obedience itself, training sessions like these help build confidence, engagement, and a better understanding of how to navigate the world calmly alongside her handler.

A familiar face has returned! 🐶

Indigo completed training with us about a year ago and has returned for boarding. We always love seeing our past trainees come back and getting the chance to spend more time with them.

Her happy face says she's settling in just fine and enjoying her stay! 🐾😄

As a future facility therapy dog, learning to stay calm, confident, and neutral in different environments are all important parts of Chester's training. During this outing, he practiced relaxing in a shopping cart while taking in all the sights, sounds, and activity around him!

Experiences like these help build confidence and teach dogs that they don't need to react to every distraction they encounter. Chester did an awesome job! 🐾

A big welcome to Chloe and Jordi! 🐶🐶

These two come from the same household and are taking on their training journey together! They're already settling in nicely and making great progress just a few days into their program.

We're excited to continue building their skills and can't wait to see how much they accomplish over the coming weeks. Stay tuned for updates on these two! 🐾

Rex has come such a long way! 🐶

When this 8-year-old German Shepherd first came to us, he was struggling with the transition from farm life to city life. After years of having plenty of space and freedom, suddenly having to navigate neighborhoods, sidewalks, unfamiliar noises, and other dogs on leash was a huge adjustment.

His family came to us looking for help with leash walking and reactivity, and Rex has worked incredibly hard every step of the way.

Today, he's able to walk calmly on leash both around the neighborhood and out in public. He's confidently navigating narrow aisles, busy stores, and new environments, sitting politely before entering doorways, and staying focused instead of reacting to unfamiliar sounds and distractions.

It's been amazing to watch his confidence grow as he learns that the world isn't as overwhelming as it once seemed.

We're so proud of the progress Rex has made and can't wait for him to go home to his family tomorrow to continue enjoying walks and adventures together! 🐾

With the warm weather here, our dogs have been loving every opportunity to cool off in the water! Bobby had an absolute blast swimming and enjoying a fun summer adventure! 🌊
