Everyone loves KEZIAH!

That’s why we don’t understand why this amazing girl has been at the shelter for 8 months! The time has flown by as we have watched Keziah blossom into a wonderful little companion ready for her forever home.

Keziah is 2 years old and 25 lbs. She enjoys going for walks and playing ball with the volunteers.

This is Mischif the American Bulldog. He is 61 pounds and approximately 10-12 years old. He was recently surrendered to us due to no fault of his own. He is deaf and follows basic commands by hand signal. He also happens to be super cute!

Mischif is very sweet with people, ignores other dogs, and loves to play ball! He is a lovable senior pup who wants to take nice walks and hang out with his people.

Mischif is intact. Due to his age, it was decided that it’s in his best interest to not neuter him.

KAIDO is an all around perfect pup. He is very friendly and lovable. He loves to play ball and then parade around with the ball to show you his prize. Then he will lean on you for pats and cuddles 🥹 Kaido is 1 year old. He likes other dogs and is a happy, wonderful guy!

It’s National Dog Month! What a perfect time to highlight our three beauties Karla, Trapper and Keziah!

Did you know that 21% of dogs in shelters are black, but black dogs are only 11% of the general dog population? Let’s get the word out about these three amazing dogs and help break that trend!

KEZIAH is a 2 year old Pittie / Shih Tzu mix (!). She has a charming underbite and cute little white toes. She has grown into a lovely dog in her short time at ARF. She is friendly, playful and ready for her forever home!

TRAPPER is new to ARF, so she is still a little shy. She is a 2 year old Corgi mix and is a sweet little gal. We can’t wait for her to find her family and blossom. We think she would do well with another dog in the home to help her gain confidence.

KARLA is a long time ARF resident and a volunteer favorite! She is a 7 year old Shepherd mix. Karla is protective of her home and family (aka ARF and our volunteers), so it would take a few sessions to get to know her. Prospective adopters would also be required to work with our trainer. She is extremely smart and lovable. We know you will fall in love with her like we have!

Hmm, is there a cat here? 🧐 Spunky TULIP had a lot of fun stalking volunteers from behind her catnip enrichment. She would pop out with a sweet meow, clearly pleased with her hunting prowess. This cutie was found as a skinny stray and unclaimed, she’s put some weight on and is now looking for her forever home. She’s about a year and a half old and would like to be the only cat in your home. She is chatty, opinionated, playful and curious! We adore her! 😍

Calling all Malinois AND Doberman lovers! Meet CIDER!

Cider is an exceptionally intelligent and beautiful dog. She is a year and a half old and 66 lbs. She loves to go for walks, play ball and be with her favorite people. She is a little shy at first, but quickly warms up.
