Exactly! Its same for your cats and other livestock that are not used to extreme cold living in the south. Make sure they have adequate protection, warmth and are not exposed to the harsh conditions :-)

Heads up everyone!

TEXAS: ARCTIC FRONT coming Monday. 💨
_________
A powerful cold front will sweep south Monday. This will bring us the coldest morning temperatures we’ve seen this season (on Tues / Wed) -and possibly a light freeze Wednesday morning.

For Houston: morning lows could flirt with the freezing line. So, we could be close to seeing our first freeze. It’s still early, but model projected temps continue to show low-mid 30’s sometime Wednesday morning and mid-upper 30’s Tuesday morning. Stay updated with the changes, in case the trend continues.

Parts of the Texas Panhandle are looking at possible snowfall ❄️, and north Texas could even see light snow as well. It’s still too early to make an exact call. But winter weather looks like it will return to Texas next week. More info and updates to follow.
