I have some really exciting news to share! Garth Animal Hospital is growing, and I am so happy to welcome our very first associate veterinarian, Dr. Amity Curry 🎉
When I started looking for someone to join our team, I knew it had to be someone who shares my passion for low stress, Fear Free care and treating every pet like family. Dr. Curry is a perfect fit !
✨ A little about Dr. Curry:
💜 Fear Free Level 3 Certified (yes, that's a level higher than me, and yes, I'm a little jealous 😄)
🤝 Human-Animal Bond Certified
✈️ USDA Accredited, so she can provide health certificates for pets traveling internationally! (I know so many of you have asked about this one!)
🐕 Currently working toward her veterinary rehabilitation certification
She has a special love for senior pets and preventive wellness. One thing she told me really stuck with me: there's nothing better than watching a nervous pet go from hiding in the corner to greeting her at the door. That is exactly what we're all about here !
At home, she's mom to Coconut, a 4 year old Maltipoo who demands attention, and Gunner, a 14 year old Yorkie who she calls her "soul dog." 🐶🐶
"And don't worry, I'm not going anywhere! 😊 After a year of working 6 days a week, I'm finally getting a second day off (my family is thrilled 😄), but I'll still be here 5 days a week !
