SOS - Pinky, the little angel that broke all our hearts has a sister that just landed in the parish shelter where her chances of getting out are slim 💔

A little backstory, we told yall that Pinky got out while being watched by someone other than her family, and that’s because her actual owner went to jail.

Rosalie was with the same people, got loose as well but ended up at the shelter instead of hit.

While we’re grateful she’s alive, she may not be for long if we can’t find her a rescue or family 😞

She’s only 2 years old, 37 lbs and loves other dogs and people.

Please share her face far and wide so we can give her the happy ending that Pinky didn’t get 🥺

She’s currently in Franklin La but transport is available anywhere in the US for the perfect family.

HEARTBREAKING BUT PLZ READ 🤍

Yesterday someone posted in a local neighborhood group that during the night they had hit this angel who was standing in the middle of a rural road. They were clearly devastated and didn’t know what to do except move her little body out of the road and post in case someone was looking.

I knew the area, so I decided to go out and check her for a microchip in case we could find the family missing her.

There was no microchip or collar, so I said a little prayer, told her I was sorry for what she went through and made another post hoping that the word might reach someone looking for her.

And it did. That’s when we learned that her name is Pinky, she was 16 and very loved.

Her owner had some friends watching her and we are not sure the full story but clearly she got away.

We received a message from the owner’s mother telling us her story and pleading with us to somehow get her little body off of the road and over to her family‘s house so they could give her a proper burial (they unfortunately have no vehicle).

I was out of town so we made another post asking if anyone would be willing to take on this devastating task to bring pinky to peace, and a local angel miraculously stepped up. Thank you Kimberley 🥹

Pinky is now being buried by her family.

This is the power of community. To Pinky and her family, we are so sorry 💔
