Tater Chip found his forever home tonight 🥺 Thank you to everyone who had interest in him or shared my post! He was a hard one to see go down the road but we are so proud to put our name and brand behind him 🥹
APW HIGHBROWS VOODOO aka “Tater Chip” is a 2022 AQHA registered, home-raised, remarkable gelding! He is a beautiful buckskin color with dun factor displaying a distinct dorsal stripe, unique webbing across his withers, and frosting in his mane and tail. We truly cannot say enough good things about this guy. Starting at a weanling, he has always been smart and willing to learn everything thrown at him. His sire is an amazing kids horse and has won our six year old little boy three belt buckles, many other prizes, and right at $1,000 in payouts this past summer at only seven years old himself. His dam is the sweetest, most laid back broodmare you could ask for; so he comes by his disposition very honestly. Tater Chip is definitely following in his sire’s footsteps and is on his way to being a remarkable kids horse. He is calm, smart, and so willing. When he was first started under saddle, he never offered to buck, rear, or do anything to be contrary or out of line. In fact, he was an absolute dream to start and was already being rode outside the round pen on ride number three and outside of the arena on ride number five by just being cinched up and swung up on. He moves out beautifully and naturally carries his head level. He is calm while tied, being trimmed, vaccinated/wormed, and being washed. He also loads, unloads, and hauls in a trailer great. He rides out in the big pastures, ropes the Heel-O-Matic, and has been rode 90 plus miles elk hunting where he covered really rough terrain and numerous water crossings. The potential wrapped up in this big, stout, beautiful gelding is immeasurable. Don’t let his age fool you, it is only a number when it comes to this guy! Asking 1️⃣5️⃣k and located in Bayard, NE. I have numerous pictures and videos of him available.
