Just like human salons, grooming salons offer different levels of service, experience, products and care. When you’re paying for premium grooming, it’s important to understand what’s actually included in that price.
At Lillybug’s Pet Spa, the little differences matter.
✨ WE ARE CAGE-FREE THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE PROCESS
Your dog isn’t bathed and then placed into a kennel to wait for the next step. We schedule our appointments so your dog moves through the grooming process comfortably and efficiently.
✨ WE HAND-DRY EVERY DOG
After a nice warm bath, your dog is hand-dried using warm air with a groomer right there with them.
In Suffolk County, certain heated cage-drying methods are prohibited, so salons using kennel drying must use other permitted drying methods. At Lillybug’s, we choose hands-on drying.
That means your dog goes from a warm bath to being personally dried and brushed — not sitting wet in a kennel with cool air blowing on them.
And hand-drying isn’t only about comfort. Proper drying and coat preparation are a huge part of achieving that beautiful, smooth finished haircut.
✨ PREMIUM PRODUCTS MATTER
We exclusively use Hydra Professional shampoos, conditioners and grooming products.
We made that investment intentionally. What touches your dog’s skin and coat matters to us, which is why we choose professional products specifically formulated for pet grooming rather than cutting costs with inexpensive bulk shampoo.
Premium products + proper bathing + conditioning + hands-on drying + correct coat preparation = a noticeable difference in both the experience and the finished groom.
✨ COMFORT MATTERS JUST AS MUCH AS THE HAIRCUT
A grooming appointment isn’t just the 30 minutes spent cutting hair.
It’s everything that happens before, during and after that haircut.
There are wonderful groomers at many different price points, and a lower price doesn’t automatically mean a bad groomer.
But two services called a “full groom” aren’t necessarily the same service.
When comparing grooming prices, ask:
