☀️🐾 KEEP THEM COOL & SAFE THIS SUMMER! 🐾☀️
With temperatures rising, our furry friends need a little extra protection from the heat! 🥵🐶🐱
Here are a few simple ways to help keep your pets comfortable and safe:
💧 Always provide plenty of fresh, clean water
🌳 Make sure they have access to shade and shelter
🚗 NEVER leave pets in a parked car — even for a few minutes
🐾 Avoid hot pavement that can burn their paw pads
🏠 Keep pets indoors in a cool, comfortable area when temperatures climb
🧊 Try frozen treats, cool water, or a damp towel for safe cooling
⚠️ Know the warning signs of heat stress: excessive panting, drooling, weakness, lethargy, vomiting, confusion, or collapse. If your pet is showing signs of heat illness, seek veterinary care immediately.
At Bay Minette Animal Clinic, we want your pets to stay happy, healthy, and safe all summer long! ❤️🐾

🇺🇸❤️🤍💙 Happy 4th of July💙🤍❤️🇺🇸

As you celebrate this holiday weekend, please remember that fireworks can be stressful and frightening for our furry family members.
🐶🐱 Please keep your dogs and cats safely indoors during fireworks. Even the calmest pets can become frightened by loud noises and may try to escape.
Here are a few ways to help keep your pets safe:
🐾 Keep them indoors in a secure, comfortable area.
🏷️ Make sure collars, ID tags, and microchip information are up to date.
🎵 Turn on a TV or calming music to help drown out the sound of fireworks.
🚪 Be mindful when opening doors, especially if you have guests coming and going.
Every year, animal shelters and veterinary clinics see an increase in lost pets after Fourth of July celebrations. Taking a few extra precautions can help ensure your pets stay safe and at home.
From our family to yours, we wish you a safe, happy, and fun Independence Day! 🇺🇸🐾
