💚 Meet Pam – The Friendly Face That Welcomes You to Live Oak Animal Hospital! 💚

If you’ve called or walked through our doors, chances are you’ve already had the pleasure of meeting Pam, our wonderful receptionist!

Pam was born and raised in Greenville, Alabama, and now calls Atmore home. After graduating from Greenville High School, she attended Massey Draughon Business College in Montgomery.

When she’s not at Live Oak, Pam’s favorite place to be is with her family. She especially enjoys cheering on her granddaughter at rodeos and barrel races and loves watching her chase her dreams.

At home, Pam is surrounded by plenty of personality! She has an African Grey Parrot who loves to chat, and after recently saying goodbye to her beloved wirehaired pointing griffon, Duff, of 12 years, she’s excited to welcome two new furry family members—two beautiful Maine C***s named Storm and her son, Asher.

Pam’s sweet spirit, kind heart, and genuine love for both people and animals make her such a special part of our Live Oak family. Whether you’re calling to schedule an appointment or stopping by with your pet, she’ll greet you with a smile and make you feel right at home.

Be sure to say hello to Pam the next time you visit! 🐾❤️

‼️Regarding Health Certificates and Coggins 📋‼️

🐄🐎 Moving Livestock? We’ve Got the Paperwork Covered! 🐖🐐

Our clinic uses GlobalVetLink (GVL), a secure electronic system that allows us to efficiently issue and manage official animal health documents, including:

✅ Electronic Certificates of Veterinary Inspection (Health Certificates)
✅ Electronic Coggins certificates for horses
✅ Electronic rabies certificates (when applicable)
✅ Other official veterinary documents required for animal movement

Why does this matter?
✔️ Faster turnaround on important paperwork
✔️ Secure digital records that are easy to access when needed
✔️ Reduced errors and streamlined processing
✔️ Helps ensure compliance with state and federal animal health regulations

Whether you’re headed to a livestock show, rodeo, breeding facility, sale barn, or simply relocating your animals, we’re here to help make the process as smooth as possible.

📞 Planning to travel with your animals? Schedule an appointment a minimum of 1️⃣ week ahead of time so we can ensure all testing, inspections, and documentation are completed before your departure. If a coggins is required, schedule your appointment 2️⃣ weeks ahead of your event or travel to ensure all documentation is completed. We will not be able to guarantee documents will be available if appointments are not made within these time frames.

Welcome back for a meet the crew Monday! We would like to introduce Brittany!

Hometown: Goodway, Alabama

Alma Mater: J.U. Blacksher High School & Mississippi State University where she completed her degree in Animal & Dairy Science.

Favorite activity: Caring for livestock and helping keep them healthy and thriving on the family farm 🐮

Meet Her Sidekick: Dan, her energetic Border Collie featured in this pic who always keeps life interesting! 🐾

Fun Fact: When she’s not working with animals, Brittany enjoys playing the piano at her church🎹🎶. She is currently on a mission trip in Guatemala!

Elite farm girl energy 👉🏻She backs a cattle trailer better than most grown men who swear they’ve been doing it for 30 years. Meanwhile, I still need a spotter to back into a parking space..👏🏻

We’re so thankful to have Brittany on our team! If you see her around, be sure to say hello!
