💚 Meet Pam – The Friendly Face That Welcomes You to Live Oak Animal Hospital! 💚

If you’ve called or walked through our doors, chances are you’ve already had the pleasure of meeting Pam, our wonderful receptionist!

Pam was born and raised in Greenville, Alabama, and now calls Atmore home. After graduating from Greenville High School, she attended Massey Draughon Business College in Montgomery.

When she’s not at Live Oak, Pam’s favorite place to be is with her family. She especially enjoys cheering on her granddaughter at rodeos and barrel races and loves watching her chase her dreams.

At home, Pam is surrounded by plenty of personality! She has an African Grey Parrot who loves to chat, and after recently saying goodbye to her beloved wirehaired pointing griffon, Duff, of 12 years, she’s excited to welcome two new furry family members—two beautiful Maine C***s named Storm and her son, Asher.

Pam’s sweet spirit, kind heart, and genuine love for both people and animals make her such a special part of our Live Oak family. Whether you’re calling to schedule an appointment or stopping by with your pet, she’ll greet you with a smile and make you feel right at home.

Our clinic uses GlobalVetLink (GVL), a secure electronic system that allows us to efficiently issue and manage official animal health documents, including:

✅ Electronic Certificates of Veterinary Inspection (Health Certificates)
✅ Electronic Coggins certificates for horses
✅ Electronic rabies certificates (when applicable)
✅ Other official veterinary documents required for animal movement

Why does this matter?

✔️ Secure digital records that are easy to access when needed
✔️ Reduced errors and streamlined processing
✔️ Helps ensure compliance with state and federal animal health regulations

Alma Mater: J.U. Blacksher High School & Mississippi State University where she completed her degree in Animal & Dairy Science.

Favorite activity: Caring for livestock and helping keep them healthy and thriving on the family farm 🐮

Fun Fact: When she’s not working with animals, Brittany enjoys playing the piano at her church🎹🎶. She is currently on a mission trip in Guatemala!
