🧔🐾 It’s World Beard Day! 🐾🧔 World Beard Day is celebrated annually on the first Saturday of September!

Some pups were simply born to rock a beard… and today we’re celebrating those magnificent whiskers, fluffy chins, and perfectly scruffy faces! 🐶✨

Whether it’s a distinguished Schnauzer mustache, a fluffy doodle “goatee,” a wise old terrier beard, or just a little bit of extra fluff that gives them their signature look — these bearded beauties know how to make an entrance. 😍

A great beard isn’t just about looking adorable (although that’s definitely a bonus 😉). Those facial furnishings are part of what makes each dog unique and full of personality. From the curious little sniffs through their whiskers to the way their beard gets a little messy after a drink or a tasty treat, every scruffy detail is part of their charm!

📢 A LITTLE SCHEDULING REMINDER! 🐾

We know this time of year can be BUSY! Between the last summer camping trips, vacations, Labor Day activities, and getting everyone back into a school routine, schedules can change quickly. 🏕️✈️📚

We completely understand that things come up! ❤️

However, we kindly ask that you give us at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your pet's grooming appointment.

Why is 48 hours so important? ⏰
When we have enough notice, we have a better chance of filling that appointment time with another client who may be waiting for an opening. This helps us keep our schedule running smoothly and gives other pets the opportunity to get in sooner. 🐶🐱

We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation, especially during this busy time of year!

Please check your calendars and let us know as soon as possible if you need to make a change to an upcoming appointment. 🗓️

Did You Know Your Pet's Coat Can Tell Us A LOT? 👀✨

Your pet's coat isn't just there to make them look fluffy and adorable—it can give us clues about their overall well-being! 🐶🐱

🪮 Coat texture can change
Changes in texture, dryness, or oiliness can sometimes be noticeable during grooming.

👀 The skin underneath matters, too!
Regular brushing and grooming gives us a chance to notice things like redness, bumps, unusual spots, or changes we may not have seen before.

🐾 Groomers see your pet regularly
Because we work closely with your pet's coat and skin, we may notice changes from one appointment to the next.

🩵 But groomers aren't veterinarians!
If we notice something unusual, we can point it out to you, but your veterinarian is the right person to diagnose and treat health concerns.

✨ Fun fact: Grooming isn't just about making your pet look good—it can also give you another opportunity to notice changes that may otherwise go unnoticed!
