Check out the CUTE faces that should be joining us at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. & Cremation Services tomorrow!

The shelter will be CLOSED for the day, as we'll be out from 10am-2pm with adoptable cats, kittens, and dogs 🐾

As in past years, we will be able to do same-day kitty adoptions (although we do still have to do landlord checks for renters, so please come prepared with contact info!). We will be accepting applications on our adoptable dogs, and approved applicants will be able to do meets/take home their new family members next week for the reduced adoption fee. Because Gephart's is generously paying half on adoptions, ours fees for this event are as following...

Adult cats $25
Kittens $50
Dogs (any age) $100
Cat carriers, if needed, will be available for $5. All fees must be cash/check - we will not be able to process debit/credit on-site.

We kindly ask that you leave your own pets at home...for those that apply to adopt a dog, we will schedule meets/dog introductions at the shelter early next week, in a more controlled/less chaotic environment 🐾

Don't forget - the 4th annual pet adoption day sponsored by Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. & Cremation Services is this Saturday, June 6th!

It looks like the chance of rain is starting to swing in our favor, although it's going to be HOT! We kindly ask that you leave your own pets at home...for those that apply to adopt a dog, we will schedule dog introductions at the shelter early next week, in a cooler and less chaotic environment. Tomorrow we will be posting some more info on our adoptables that will be attending 🐾

Attention volunteers!

With the unseasonably warm temperatures continuing today, we will likely shut down dog walking between noon and 1pm as temps hit 80+... our kids were not wanting to stay out yesterday afternoon once the temperature started to rise, so we'll let them stay in today with frozen kongs or other enrichment.

This will likely be the guideline we will follow next week as well if the forecast remains consistent, so watch for updates as we'll be keeping an eye on the weather and update as needed 🌞
