Due to the high volume of clients and the fact that we are still short staffed, we will be closing clientele for large dogs only. We will still be taking in new small dog clients, and all of our existing clients with large dogs will be unaffected. But as of today July 6th 2021, we will NOT be taking in any NEW large dogs. This also includes large breed puppies as well. At the moment we only have two large breed groomers who are over congested with clients. We are hopeful that we will be able to open our client books again but at this time we are putting a hold on new clients with large breeds. We are sorry for any inconvenience and will keep everyone posted when we will be allowing NEW large breed clients to come in again.

I honestly never thought I would have to cover this subject because it’s absolutely ridiculous, but here we are. Today we had a client try to start some things with one of our newer groomers due to personal issues outside of our shop. Please understand that we do not tolerate drama of this sort at all. You will be eliminated as a client without hesitation. Trying to get someone fired because you do not like them is disgusting and ridiculous. These girls break their backs every day in this job. They have put sweat, blood and tears into this business including our new team members. I apologize that this has to be said but as for now we will be standing firm on this issue.

Hello everyone just giving a quick update. We are so close to being done with the construction in our bathroom and kitchen but the work isn’t over from there. As we continue to update our shop we will try to keep these things from interrupting our daily business but please know that some days we will have some hindrance in our day to day activities. Also we are still somewhat short staffed so answering the phone and online messages is on the slower side at the moment. But please know we are doing all we can to make sure everyone gets an appointment. At this time we are booking for the first week of March but filling up quickly. If you would like an appointment please leave us a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Thank you for your patience and hoping we are back to business as usual soon.

Hello everyone, I would like to give everyone an update on why we are booking in advance at the moment. We have had a rough couple of weeks here at Bruno’s. Our family suffered a sudden loss last week that we all are still reeling from. Also Tina our owner has gone in for a much needed surgery on her hip and will be out for may weeks to come. We apologize for the back up and are trying to catch up as quickly as we can but we are very short handed. We appreciate your patience and continued support through everything our little shop has been through this past 2020 and onward. We will continue to book appointments but please know that we will still be booking at least a week in advance. Thank you for your time and we hope to see you soon.

Just a reminder that we will be closed the Friday Saturday and of course Sunday this week for the holiday. But we will be back Monday the 28th regular business hours. Have a safe and happy holiday everyone.

If you plan to add a new member to your family please consider adopting an adorable rescue dog. Mitten mutts is just one of the many amazing rescues we have heee in Michigan. And don’t forget to check out our local animal shelter and humane society.

MMDR is a foster based rescue that houses dogs in foster homes in the Bay City & Saginaw area.

We have had a surplus of phone calls asking if we are open. As of the moment we are still operating, but as things progress we will keep everyone updated as to our status. This is a very frustrating time for everyone right now and we fully understand. Stay strong and stay safe.
