When a dog leaves this world, they take a piece of our hearts with them, carrying it to some boundless place where time and pain don’t exist, where they can finally run as far and as freely as they’ve always wanted. They’re just as they were in their happiest moments—full of life, full of that bright, simple joy.

In this place, they have everything they ever loved. There’s a soft patch of grass under an open sky where they can roll around, the kind of sunlit spot they’d pick on a lazy afternoon. There are endless scents leading down trails that never end, with places to rest just the way they liked, curled up and content.
