💗 FOSTER NEEDED FOR SWEET SUE 💗

This precious girl will be joining the Barking Wishes family next week, and we’d really love to have a soft place ready for her to land. 🐾

Sue is a 12-year-old, 20 lb Beagle whose owner has made the incredibly difficult decision to rehome her because they are no longer able to care for her. ❤️

Sue is spayed, vaccinated, crate trained and an absolute sweetheart. She’s friendly with people and kids, gets along with other dogs, and LOVES attention. She’s a senior lady who knows exactly what she wants…and she will absolutely tell you when dinner is late. 📣🍗

Sue eats soft food due to some dental issues, which we’ll have evaluated by our vet ASAP once she comes into our care. She can also be a little vocal when left alone, but overall she’s an affectionate, sweet old girl just looking for someone to love her.

🏡 She can be fostered in Lafayette, Baton Rouge, or surrounding areas

Can you spare a little time for some seniors pups?
Our sanctuary is Volunteer ran. Volunteers can choose any day and any time slot that works for them even if it’s only ever once in a blue moon!
Our volunteers stop by around 7am, 12pm, and 6pm and usually stay for about an hour or so.

When Kingston arrived to us in May there was no other way to describe his condition other than near death. 💔
His previous owner stated he was only 7 years old and we were absolutely shocked to hear that he was still so young.
Kingston was emaciated, suffering from kidney issues, his skin was unlike any skin we’ve seen before, and his eyes were gooey and stuck shut.

🐕🐶🐾Despite all of his ailments Kingston was so resilient and took every step of his healing journey like a champ! It took him almost two months to be healthy enough for his neuter and theirs been no stopping him since!

Kingston is happy and playful, his hair has grown in so great, he has put on weight and his true personality is shining brightly! Kingston loves people and gets along great with all his resident sanctuary friends! He is truly the best little guy!

Now all Kingston needs is a permanent place to call his own!

Our Sweetie girl!! 💙🐾🐶 Sweetie is loyal to her people and eager to please. She is a good girl and follows her routine to a T. Sweetie is kennel trained and knows a few basic commands. She has been in our program since October of last year waiting for her perfect home 🐕
Sweetie does well with submissive dogs as she can be kinda bossy 🤪 but who doesnt love a queen who’s in charge.
Sweetie is about 9 years old and weighs 40lbs. She would be the best medium sized adventure buddy
