We also provide counseling services for individuals interested in giving up their pets. We do ask that individuals consider other options before surrenderin

g their pets to the shelter, such as working with a trainer to resolve behavior issues or asking friends and family for help. Pets are a lifelong commitment and depend of us to ensure they are happy, healthy and loved.

Foster Friday Spotlight: Madagascar “Madi” 🐾💙

Meet Madi, the ultimate cuddle buddy with a little extra wobble and a whole lot of love.

Madi has cerebellar hypoplasia, also known as Wobbly Cat Syndrome, which affects her balance and coordination. She may walk a little differently, but it doesn’t stop her from exploring, playing, and enjoying life to the fullest.

This sweet girl loves being picked up, held, and staying close to her people. She enjoys feather wands, string toys, cartoons, video games, and anything involving water. She even has her own fountain! Madi is also quite the chatterbox and will happily answer when you talk to her.

She is still learning to feel comfortable around dogs, so slow, patient introductions would be best.

Food Truck Friday is back at Companion Animal Alliance on Friday, August 28, from 12 PM–4 PM!

Join us for an afternoon of delicious local food, adoptable pets, and $5 adoptions on all spayed and neutered pets as we continue our Dog Days of Summer campaign. 💙

Rocky is ready to be part of the family. 🐾💙

Meet Rocky, a 1½-year-old boy with a big heart and an even bigger love for people.

Rocky may let you know he's ready to get out of his kennel, but once he's with you, he's calm, affectionate, and happiest soaking up attention. He loves being close to his people and has done well with both dogs and even a cat in his previous home.

He's an active young dog who would thrive with a family that enjoys adventures, can provide structure, and has a secure yard where he can safely play and explore.

Rocky is on CAA's Length of Stay list, which means he's been waiting longer than many of our other dogs to find his forever home. Because of that, his adoption fee has been waived.

If you're looking for a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be included in your life, come meet Rocky at CAA. He just might be the missing piece of your family. 💙
