Her name is Hurricane, and she's making it EVERYBODY'S business to know what you're doing. 🌀🐱

Meet Hurricane, a 1½-year-old girl who has absolutely no intention of minding her own business!

What's that noise? Who just walked in? Why are you over there without her? Hurricane has questions, and she WILL be investigating. 🔎

Between her curiosity, her gorgeous fluffy tail, and her love for being petted, this sweet girl is a whole lot of personality wrapped in one adorable cat.

Life with Hurricane means a little shadow following you around, supervising your every move, and stopping for pets along the way. 💕

Hurricane is available for pre-adoption at CAA! Come meet her before she starts investigating why you haven't shown up yet. 🐾

Cindy went on a sleepover and immediately understood the assignment: cuddle, sunbathe, repeat. ☀️🐾💕

Our girl Cindy is back on your feed, and this 4-year-old has been giving us a pretty good preview of what life with her could look like!

During her recent Date-a-Dog outing and sleepover, Cindy enjoyed a trip to the park, a stop at CC's Coffee, and plenty of quality time with her people. She was wonderful in the car, walked nicely on leash, and showed off her favorite hobby: being as close to her humans as physically possible. 😂

She's also a big fan of lounging outside in the sunshine, with the occasional zoomies when the mood strikes. Cindy is house-trained, knows sit, and would happily trade a pile of toys for a good cuddle session.

Cindy is available for adoption at CAA! If your idea of a perfect day includes sunshine, a little fresh air, and a dog who wants to be wherever you are, come meet Cindy! 💙

Boba has been out exploring Baton Rouge, but she's still looking for someone to come home to. 🥹🐾

This 2-year-old girl is back on your feed, and she's been keeping busy with our Date-a-Dog program!

From Highland Park to Cypress, Boba has been enjoying car rides, looking out the window, and soaking up every bit of attention she can get. She's an energetic girl who loves exploring, knows sit and shake, and is always happy to show off her skills for a treat. 💕

Boba has plenty of playful energy, but she's just as happy spending time with her people.

Boba is one of our Familiar Favorites! She's been waiting longer than many of the other pets in our care, so her adoption fee is WAIVED! 🎉

She's seen some of Baton Rouge. Now let's help her find her favorite place: home. Come meet Boba at CAA! 💙

Coco has places to sniff, people to love, and absolutely no plans to sit still all day. 🐾

Meet Coco, a 2½-year-old boy who loves exploring his surroundings almost as much as he loves attention!

At 4/5 on both energy and affection, Coco brings a little bit of everything. He's happy to investigate the yard, stop by for some pets and kisses, and occasionally decide that your lap looks like a pretty good place to sit. 💙

He's gentle with people, has shown polite interest in other dogs, and is suspected to be house-trained. Life with Coco could mean plenty of time outside, followed by some well-earned affection.

Coco is one of our Familiar Favorites! He's been waiting longer than many of the other pets in our care, so his adoption fee is WAIVED! 🎉

Come meet Coco at CAA and see if he's your kind of guy!

Suba went to Comite Park and would like to know when we're going back. 😂🌳🐾

Meet Suba, a 2-year-old girl who recently enjoyed a day out through our Date-a-Dog program!

She settled right into the car ride, got her initial excitement out on the trail, and then relaxed into a nice walk. Suba is a happy, energetic girl with an independent streak who still loves getting attention from her people. 💕

Suba is one of our Familiar Favorites! She's been waiting longer than many of the other pets in our care, which means her adoption fee is WAIVED! 🎉

If you're looking for a four-legged companion who enjoys getting outside and spending time with you, come meet Suba at CAA! 💙

Foster Feature: Pearl 🤍🐾

Pearl has a very polite way of requesting attention: one little nose tap. And yes, it works every time. 🥹

Pearl is happiest close to her people, whether she’s curled up in a lap, leaning against your leg, or joining you for a walk. She’s house-trained, treat motivated, and already knows “sit,” “outside,” “go to bed,” and more.

She enjoys people and children and likes meeting other dogs. She may be excited at first, but once she gets familiar, she settles right in.

Pearl is heartworm positive, but that’s just one part of her story. She’s looking for a foster or adoptive home where she can receive the care she needs while continuing to be the affectionate, people-loving girl she already is. ❤️

Foster Feature: Bandit 💦🐾

Bandit believes there are two ways to enjoy water: get a little wet… or put your entire head underwater. 😂

This growing pup is curious, playful, and always ready to join the fun. He currently lives with four large dogs and spends his days playing chase, tug-of-war, exploring outside, and napping in the sunshine.

Bandit is already learning “stop,” “stay,” and “put that down”—an especially important skill during his puppy chewing era. 😉 When the adventures are over, he’s ready for belly rubs, bedtime cuddles, and plenty of kisses.

A home with room to play and a canine friend could be a great fit for this social guy.
