🚨 CUTENESS ALERT! 🚨

Meet Archie & Quigley! 🐾🐾

These two adorable terriers came to us with a whirlwind of terrier opinions, occasional fights, and some behaviors that were making everyday life pretty challenging for their owners!

Now enrolled in our private training program, they’re making amazing progress! 🎉

Instead of constantly reacting to one another, Archie & Quigley are learning to slow down, listen to their owners, and make better choices. They’re building impulse control, responding more reliably to direction, and learning how to share space with less tension and conflict.

Less chaos, better communication, and a whole lot more cooperation! 🙌

But here’s the BEST part of their success story…

❤️ Their owners are doing the work!

They’ve been incredibly committed to following the training program, practicing their homework, setting clear expectations, and staying consistent between lessons.

And it SHOWS!

Because successful dog training isn’t just about what happens during a lesson. It’s about what owners do with those lessons every single day.

Quigley has suffered from anxiety & unclarity of his position in the home which has caused some fights between him and the other dog in the home (Archie) . His amazing owner has really stepped into the leader the dogs need and Quigley is doing a super job in his first e collar lesson. Next up ; Archie will be joining the sessions & we will work both dogs together with the goal of a harmonious home

A busy morning with clients and each lesson involved teaching place training.

Benefits of place training include :

*Useful for multi-dog households. Place gives each dog a defined space and can reduce crowding, competition, and chaotic interactions

* Helps over-aroused or reactive dogs. It provides a structured way to practice being neutral around distractions rather than constantly interacting with them.

* Improves duration and frustration tolerance. Dogs learn that they don’t always get immediate access to what they want.

* Encourages independence. A dog can learn to be comfortable away from the owner instead of constantly shadowing them

In my sport dog life I have used place training to transition my dog from the car to protection training
