You just adopted a new puppy… now you’re wondering, “How early should I start getting them groomed?” 🤔

My answer? As early as you can! Even if you start at home!

🐾Looking for the best way to get your puppy started?

At The Boujee Bark, the Puppy Introduction Groom is designed to be slow, positive, and age-appropriate. Your pup will be introduced to:

🛁 Bathing
💨 Slow-paced blow drying
🐾 Nail trimming
👂 Ear cleaning
✂️ Sanitary & paw pad trimming (if needed)
🪮 Brushing
🔊 Grooming tools and noises

The goal isn’t to give your puppy a perfect haircut—it’s to teach them that grooming doesn’t have to be scary!

If you want a confident, comfortable pup who is prepared for a lifetime of regular grooming, the earlier we start, the better! 🤎🐾

🐾 A quick reminder from The Boujee Bark🐾

We wanted to post a friendly reminder about our cancellation and no-show policies. These policies are included with our release forms when you become a client, but we know life gets busy and it’s easy to forget, so we wanted to share a friendly reminder! 🫶

We truly love each and every one of our clients and take pride in giving your pups our best care and 100% effort every day. In return, we kindly ask that you be respectful of our time as well. Late cancellations and no-shows take away appointments that could have gone to other eager clients and directly affect our income, as grooming is how we make our living.

With summer getting busier and my maternity leave quickly approaching, my availability is also extremely limited. Unfortunately, missing an appointment may mean that I’m unable to get you back in before I leave. The same will likely apply when I return part-time, as I’ll have very limited flexibility for rescheduling.

We absolutely don’t want anyone to miss out on their pup’s appointment or have to pay a cancellation/no-show fee, which is why we’re sending this reminder. These policies aren’t something we enjoy enforcing, but they are necessary to keep our business running fairly for everyone. 💕
