Tomorrow is Labor Day, and we have the perfect excuse to treat yourself AND make a shelter dog’s day! 🐶❤️

We’ll be open from 10:00am to 2:00pm for field trips, so come grab a pup and head out for some fun! And as a little bonus, you’ll get a Chick fil A free entree card when you take a dog out.

That means you get nuggets, your new four legged friend gets some nuggets, and our shelter dogs get a much needed break from the kennel. Sounds like a pretty perfect Labor Day to us! 🍗

Come hang out with a shelter pup tomorrow. Trust us, you’ll both be glad you did!

A moment for these AMAZING people!!!

As many of you know, we send so many of our League kitties to Purrfect Day Cat Cafe in Covington, and the impact they have on our cats is incredible. This partnership is especially important during kitten season because it helps our kittens find their families incredibly fast, which means we can open up more space here at the League to help even more cats in need.

And August was a HUGE month for adoptions at Purrfect Day.

163 cats found their forever families in August, tying for their best adoption month of August EVER! Even more exciting? 76 of those happy endings were League kitties!

Right now, the average kitten stays at the cafe for just 3.11 days before finding their forever home. THREE DAYS!

HOW AMAZING IS THAT?!

We are beyond grateful to the incredible team at Purrfect Day Cat Cafe and everyone who walks through their doors and chooses to adopt. Partnerships like this make such a huge difference for our animals and allow us to keep saying yes to more kitties who need our help!

Our hearts are FULL. Thank you, Purrfect Day, for helping so many of our kitties find the families they have been waiting for!

We are open for adoptions from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Trained volunteers and field trips are welcome to come 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Football is back, and we’re bringing the tails to the celebration!

The League for Animal Welfare is teaming up with the Joanie Bernard Foundation on September 11th and 12th for the Tails and Tailgates Adoption Event, and trust us, you’re not going to want to miss this one.

For TWO DAYS ONLY, every League dog and cat who is 6 months or older will be just $10 to adopt. Yep. Ten dollars! Your next best friend could cost less than a Chipotle bowl!

And if you can’t make it to the shelter, don’t worry… WE’RE COMING TO YOU! 🎉

We’ll be at 50 West in Mariemont BOTH Friday, September 11th AND Saturday, September 12th from 12–4 PM with a bunch of adorable, adoptable dogs and cats. Grab a drink, hang out, meet some furry friends and who knows… you might just find the one you’ve been looking for. ❤️

And yes, the $10 adoption special applies at 50 West, too!
